Good value. However, I no longer see any value in the cigar club. The automatic shipments lock me into more cigars than I can smoke during the winter and make it impractical for me to try other smokes for comparison. What practical justification is there for continuing in the program?

Happy with the choices I made......both excellent smokes, and paid less than any body else offered them for .

I originally got one of these in a sampler and I fell in love with it! I taste chocolate and coffee, while having a creamy texture! If you're from IL, it reminds me of a Chocolate Cake Shake from Portillo's! I bought a box of these 'cause I loved it so much, now I smoke one every other day.

Good flavor overall. It arrived well hydrated, but there was a problem with the wrapper. After a couple of puffs, the wrapper lifted bear the band. Also had to re light several times. Being a Gurkha it had great flavor and maybe the wrapper was a fluke. The rest of the stick was well madw.

First of all, It is good cigar. Just not good as others, It has beautiful wrapper as usual Gurkha cigars and well constructed. But the flavor is not quite bold enough to see the good taste and not flavorful enough to be good flavor cigar. The taste is very basic Domain leaf taste, I don't see I will buy this again but it is not bad cigar at all, I can take it if it is in the sampler or gift.

As someone else mentioned the middle wants to light easier than the outside creating a little reverse cone at the very beginning, but that was easily corrected. The other issue I had was a very small piece of the wrapping stuck to my lip and tore off while I was lighting it. The wrapper was fairly thin for being San Andres Maduro, but not papery like a Connecticut can be. That being said I rate cigars based on my expectations on different factors. Price included. For the price of this stick I'll deal with a couple minor issues like that from time to time as this is a great everyday smoke. Perhaps a little mild for my taste, but everything you expect from a Maduro is there. Light pepper with nuances of espresso and chocolate lingering on the palate for a short time. I would rate it more of a mild/medium than straight medium body. If you enjoy a nice Maduro that stays mild, or looking to expand your rotation from Connecticut blends this is something you should try.

This cigar had a good even burn, tasted great and lasted for a very long time. It didn't leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth like many others do. The only problem I had was that the inside wanted to light much easier than the outside. But after getting that sorted out I had no problems.
