I've smoke 3 of these and all have been lousy smokes. I am still new to smoking cigars but I can say I have spent equal money and received a much better smoking cigar.

So far I have sampled the Beauty, Beast and Centurian Double Perfecto. All three are excellent cigars, beautifully and skillfully rolled testifying to Gurkha quality. All have smoked evenly and burn smooth with flavors that have placed them at the top of my list for above and beyond daily smokes. I normally like to place my cigars into the humidor and let them season for a while before enjoying them, but a competitor had the Centurian Double Perfecto on a very good sale price a couple of days after I received this order so I decided to go ahead and try the CDP and was sold, I now have 20 of these seasoning with 20 more on the way. Similar thing happened with the Beast now waiting to catch one of these companies slipping on the Beauty.

As much as I’d like to review these, I can’t. I never received them. An error on my address was found after I ordered them. I called Thompson and they told me they could reroute the order. I still never received them. I’m out about $70 for two five packs that I never received. Maybe I’ll treat myself a little later and be able to review them.

Gurkha is a fine, albeit somewhat expensive smoke, but I cannot say enough for the heavy Maduros, like the Beast line. I buy these a few at a time about once a month for when I feel like I am worth it and have a solid hour or so to read, relax and enjoy a strong cup of tea with my Beast.
