I can't recommend these to anyone for any reason. I bout them as lawn mowing cigars and they aren't even good for that.

Not perfect - sometimes difficult to light (and keep lit), sometimes a difficult draw (inconsistent). BUT...decent flavor for a bargain price. Pretty good smoke for the golf course.

Won't Burn Properly

I have been purchasing cigars from Thompsons for years. This particular product does not live up to expectations, as the cigars will not burn properly. This is not a product which in my opinion should not be sold by this company. Cigar/s even after being lit, are extremely hard to keep lit (even if you smoke it constantly). It burns unevenly, and you will have to light and cut pieces off it constantly. Please don't waste your time or money with this item.

These are a nice inexpensive cigar for just an everyday kick around. If you're looking for something to celebrate and occasion with, it's not this one. If you're tinkering in the garage, training the dog, or fishing this is a perfect choice.

This cigar is honestly not a bad cigar. It is Filipino tobacco, which is not the greatest. I would not suggest buying these if you are in the market for something special, or if you are an occasional cigar smoker. If that is the case, spend your money on something much better. If you smoke cigars regularly, keep these in your humidor. They are small enough for a 30 minute smoke, yet burn well and don't taste like garbage. When it started to burn unevenly, it self-corrected and got back to even. I was impressed with that. The flavor at the beginning was lacking; had a grass and alcohol taste. Once it finally hit its sweet spot, it was a mild leather taste, which I thought was nice. Paired well with morning coffee.

Everyday smoke first off even great cigars have imperfections with that being said these cigars are smooth and cheap which is nice they do however have more imperfections per fer but that's to be expected I'd recommend them if you are like me and smoke a stogie before work after work and then get a better quality stogie for the evening smoke

Bought these cigars to take on a golf outing of 10-12 guys. Normally I smoke higher quality but these seemed to be prices right to give away, etc. Disappointed in the construction as roughly 50% had poor construction issues. For example: serious center burn or off balance burning despite correct lighting and re-lighting. Most has consistent flavor but 2 or 3 of each 20 pack had hot draw with bad taste resulting.

One of the worst cigars I've ever had to try and keep lit. Goes out, burns up the side, or "hollows- out". Taste is so-so. Save your money and try another.

I like these cigars. Though I had one with insect damage bored through the whole cigar inside of the plastic wrapper, and the fact that they burn unevenly (canoeing)at times, they are a great economy smoke. You cant beat them for the price.

Quality vs Price

These cigars are really just a trade off between price and quality. I was looking for a small cigar at a cheap price. The price on the cigars is great, but the roll isn't really great and the burn is pretty inconsistent. I'm trying to find a cigar I can have on the way to work every day without breaking the bank. I will probably try to find a different option in the future. There probably isn't really a way around spending a bit more.

Although I have had poor cigars in the past, this is the only one I have actually returned to TCC. Half are too loosely wrapped. Is this a "safety" cigar? Must be because they go out after only a few puffs. Don't buy this unless you have have a lot of fluid in your lighter -- you're going to need it. Did I mention that this cigar won't stay lit?
