Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Churchill uses a combination of vintage 7 year aged Nicaraguan and Dominican Ligero long filler sheathed in a silky, smooth Connecticut wrapper. OMG! These are great cigars, but don't you buy to many because I want them when I run out of the ones I'm currently smoking! I was born and raised in CT and actually picked the fine smooth tasting tobacco leafs found on so many great cigars. That was many years ago but I've finally found the enjoyment of smoking just about any Connecticut grown tobacco. Please save some for me!

Medium bodied cigar which tends to bitterness early on. If you make the mistake to let it go out and relight, you get a double dose of bitterness. Lovely wrapper. A cigar best suited to be smoked when you’re not paying too close attention.

I will not purchase this one again, and I really like some Rocky Patels. I put this one on par with the Romeo Y Julieta “Romeo.” I like to leave cigars in my humidor for a year before I smoke them and I did not with either of these. That may have improved them.

Overall, I liked this cigar. Very good, and mild taste. However, two of the cigars in the 5-pack didn't burn well. Ash was very flaky, continually dropping ash in my lap, much like a cheaper sandwich cigar. One of those two, had a wrapper that started unraveling, once I got to the last third. The other three cigars did fine. Maybe I just got a couple bad ones.

Ultra smooth cigar & also ultra long. Great choice for a long activity or football game. I smoke these RP 1999’s on the golf course. They usually last through the front 9 holes. Nice & smooth with an even burn.
