The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged Epicure Maduro Toro (6" x 54) is distinguished by its special Maduro wrapper that spends 14 months in a bourbon barrel (on top of the 6 years of aging) which contaings a blend of three different filler tobaccos: complex, full flavored tobaccos from Estelí, aromatic tobaccos from Condega, and naturally sweet tobaccos from the Jalapa Valley.

I love many Perdomo cigars. Their quality control is amazing and so consistent. This cigar produces great amount of smoke with deep flavors. I would put this cigar on the strong side and perfect with a bourbon of your choice.

I really want to like these smokes. They have great flavor but all but two have fell apart while smoking. At present I have at least 8 different brands in my box and these are the only ones with this issue. Humidity is at 71% so that's not the problem.

The oily Maduro wrapper was a light harder to light than your typical natural or Connecticut wrapper but well worth the effort. The initial flavor has a hint of chocolate, about a third way down it turns into a creamy nutty taste and then the cap it off it finishes with a wonderful earthy tone. I swear I could taste the rich Nicaraguan soil this tobacco was grown in. The longer I smoked it the better it got! you'll want to take your time and savor the amazing full flavor of this cigar so allow yourself a good hour to 90 minutes to enjoy all the way down to the nub. An AMAZING smoke, you will not be disappointed in this one.

I've smoked a lot of 'good' cigars and I've always come back to Perdomo for my frequent smokers. Normally 3-4 times a week I enjoy a Perdomo. While I also enjoy Montecristo, the quality and taste of Perdomo cigars is so close, that I don't need to spend the extra $$ on Monte's. I love the new bourbon barrel line and have ordered several boxes. Well worth the money. I went to 'The Blend' in Carmel, Indiana and was disappointed they didn't carry Perdomo; just Davidoff and Nats. The $43 Davidoff was okay, but I would have preferred my Perdomo any day.
