The single best cigar I have smoked so far. Very full, meaty, earthy, with some dark fruit & spice. The perfect cigar.

This smoke is some how worth the high price of admission. A divine cigar with a smooth, slow burn, perfect draw, and tons of luxurious smoke with each puff. Cedar, cocoa, and coffee are some of the flavor highlights. Easily the best smoke I've had, and second place isn't very close.

When you look for perfection from a cigar, you find it with this one. Padron is the most consistent cigar made and this one, to me is one step above every cigar ive had.

Don't know why the stick I had just wasn't putting the flavors out like most padrons. Still a very good stick great draw had a lot of kick to it. Guess it needed to sit in the humi a little longer. Still a good smoke. 3 stars just because of no flavors but I will come back to this stick and give it another shot!

Just a perfectly lovely cigar, beginning to end. And what a journey. I spend many months each year in the Caymans so have access to a broad range of Cuban cigars in addition to the rest of the world. In 15 years this is by far the best cigar I have smoked. If cost were no issue I'd smoke it every day. In the Padron line, this one excels above the rest.

This is not the kind of cigar I could afford to smoke on a daily basis. However, I enjoy my Padron about once a week, when the time is right. Great taste, smooth draw, and highly recommended...

This is such an incredible smoke - the flavor and the intensity will really get you buzzed; I've smoked plenty of Cohiba cubanos (not the Dominican knock-offs) and I honestly have to say that these beat the Cubans hands down - and since they're Nicaraguan us USA citizens can buy as much as we want! Recommended for any cigar-smoker, but a 6-figure income really helps - these are extremely expensive, but well worth the extra cost. Don't buy larger quantities of inferior product - buy the best and you won't look back. The flavor is really intoxicating - the spice and the smoothness is unparalleled by any other cigar I've every smoked - well worth the cost! Highly recommended to any afficionado! -CCOOK

I feel relaxed after one of these cigars. You have to limit the number of these you smoke every week. They are very special.

THE FIRST PADRON I WAS INTROUCDED TO WAS THE 1964 ANNIV SERIES ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO GIVE OR TAKE A YEAR,in the padron line I'll smoke nothing less than the anniv series. the last pdron i added to my collection was the 80 yr anniv figarado exellent smoke indeed.then i saw the family reserve 45 maduro, this is a must have cigar for me,finally got a box a month or two ago waiting for just the right time to smoke one,im a pretty busy guy and dont always have the time to savor a trully good cigar,on vacation this week i needed to do some writing, the perfect time.THIS SMOKE WAS TRULLY AMAZING IN ALL AREAS AND DEFINATLEY BETTER THAN THE 80 YR ANNIV,WICH I THOUGHT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO DO,I CANT WAIT TILL I HAVE TWO HOURS OR SO TO DEDICATE TO SMOKING MY NEXT 45 FAMILY RESERVE. THE PADRON FAMILY HAS OUT DONE ITSELF ON THIS ONE!!!!!

Had the pleasure of smoking one of these with my Brother-In-Law a few days ago. Our normal stick budget is in the $5-$10 range, so I wanted to get something special for us to try. I can definately say I am pleased with this smoke. It was exceptionally constructed. The box pressed wrapper was flawless, and the leaf had an almost leathery feel. Burn rate was even from start to finish. It an excellent medium flavor that built to strong as it went. I'd try to describe the flavors but I don't think I'm qualified. :) It was very complex and blended extremely well. The draw is a little stiff, but by no means difficult. Burn time was approximately 90 minutes, and we smoked them as long as we could. :) Lucky for me I bought 3 of them from a local shop and we had one Brother-In-Law that decided not to show up so I have a spare now. :) This is definately a great choice for someone looking for a special occasion smoke.
