The long filler tobaccos are a blend of Oliva Nicaraguan Habano from the Jalapa region, an area known for a more nuanced leaf than the Esteli or Condega regions. This carefully aged Jalapa blend produces a particularly flavored smoke.

The Oliva Serie V Melanio is my current favorite cigar in almost any configuration. My humidor always has a selection of this fine cigar. It has a full but smooth taste throughout the entire smoke. The burn is consistent with an easy draw.

So far just smoked one stick. very strong and still has a bit of ammonia after taste. Got very good in the last third. I'm going to age these a bit before smoking another. My guess is within 6 months to a year they will become a great cigar.
