This cigar masterpiece is handcrafted using expertly fermented Ligero fillers, leaves known for their robust and rich flavor. With a five year honing period, this delectable cigar is a shoo-in to exceed premium cigar smoker's highest expectations. The Serie V is has a full body but comes off smooth on the draw. The long filler tobaccos are a mix of Oliva Nicaraguan Habano that concentrates on the Jalapa region, an area known for a superb leaf. Other great regions also tapped for this selection are Esteli or Condega. This meticulously aged Jalapa blend produces a particularly flavored smoke.

Can’t say enough good about thus cigar. Normally I prefer a bigger cigar like a toro or torpedo, but with this smoke even the corona (#4) and the robusto satisfy. I haven’t really had enough of the maduros to comment, but up to now I prefer the natural Sumatra wrapper.

Not much more can be said about this ubiquitous classic. Simply a beautiful cigar from top to bottom. I always try to keep a few of these in my 300 cigar cooler along with the Alec Bradley Prensado and La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor. Though I always have my personal favorite Arturo Fuente offerings (Don Carlos, Hemingway and 8-5-8 Maduro) and a few Cuban Montecristo #2s for special occasions, I have to keep a few of these three cigars in the humi or I feel like I'm missing something. Like going out without a watch on. Eminently affordable in 5-packs, treat yourself to a #1 cigar if you haven't already - you won't regret it for a minute.

For me, the Oliva Serie V Melanio is the perfect cigar for mixed company. Not overwhelming, not tasteless, just a very good cigar to offer friends or to smoke yourself. I great smoke. Even draw , lasts about an hour. Smooth nutty flavor. One of my all time favorite cigars. The V by Olivia is a master piece.

I’ve heard that this was an awesome cigar, but I think I had a bad batch. When they arrived one had started to unravel and two were cracked so I wasn’t happy. One that I did smoke was great.
