Good solid smoke, but keep humidity at 70%, anything much over that makes a firm draw!

Very dissappointed on the Monte Cristo Toro Platinum. For a top notch cigar the construction was bad. The cigar was Not long filler. The initial 2 inches where cuttings. The cigar got hot where the "empate" was to the remain 4 inches. The flavor was also inconsistent.

When I lit this beautiful stick, I thought it would be an upscale Monte. What a surprise! It is a wonderful smoke, very much velvet texture, slight nutty taste...and mild. I prefer stronger smokes, but if I was looking for the best in milder smokes, this Monte is choice.

Pretty good taste, no off notes or tongue irritation. Second favorite among the Spring Seasonal tour

This is a decent cigar. I don't like the "White label" Montecristo's, so I had higher aspirations for this "Platinum series" It did not disappoint. Good construction, flavorful, medium bodied smoke.

I have had problems with other montecristo brand having poor construction and wrapping but this one was a beautiful wrap job and an all around great smoke.

This cigar had the least flavor of any cigar I've ever smoked and I smoke about 2 per day. Got it in a sampler, so don't feel too bad, but... Simply no taste what-so-ever. Like smoking flavorless paper. You'd think with the Montecristo name..., but no. Also had lot's of tunneling as it smoked.

I don't know what it is about montecristo, I've tried 3 different cigars, all different flavors and from different vendors and all turned out the same: squishy, as if not fully packed and all had to be lit several times throughout. While this smoke had more character than some other cigars I've tried, it was nothing to write home about.

Nothing good about this cigar. Construction seemed soft, flavor was harsh.

Thompson rates this a medium-body smoke. I keep going back to this cigar and I'd rate it closer to full-body. These burn very well and create lots of good smoke. The flavor is rich and without the slightest bit of harshness, even down to the end. A great cigar to smoke outside during the warmer months.
