As usual one of the top brands making a top Maduro cigar as they have been 4 years. I would definitely recommend this cigar and the whole brand. If you have the time for it it's a good one to light up, relax and just enjoy the day. Especially with your single malt!

This is my first choice in cigars but because of the high price I sometimes order less expensive cigars, I find that they never offer special promotions on Macanudo cigars.

These are my father's daily cigars. He loves them. Great flavor, good for an occasional smoker as well because they don't have that thick oil that coats the throat. Very affordable.

Excellent late smoke. Little or no aftertaste for a Maduro. Good change of pace smoke.

It is simply too long and thin which means that there is very little draw and/or flavor at the beginning. Also it has trouble staying lit unless you smoke it constantly.

7/10 were too tight, actually rock hard, to even think about drawing. After cutting and poking with my draw poker it was still like sucking on an empty coke bottle. The three that were smokeable were great, but not worth the $71.00 I paid. I love Macanudo ad respect the brand but something went wrong here. Maybe factory seconds or something.

Last attempt to submit a review. They didn't publish my others where I tried to describe how 7 out of 10 of these had a such a hard draw they were all but worthless. This is unusual for Macanudo in my experience, leading me to wonder if Thompson is selling factory seconds.

I bought this box because I love most things made by Macanudo. However, only 3 of the 10 cigars were smokable due to a very hard draw. Of the 7 others, I was able to use a draw poker and get some satisfaction from 2 of them, and the other 5 I had to cut at a soft spot about halfway down where I could get a draw or just threw the useless stick away. I've had 1 or 2 that are rock hard and impossible to draw out of a box of 20, but 7/10 is ridiculous. I don't feel this is indicative of Macanudo quality but either this site sells Macanudo's seconds or if a batch got past Quality Assurance. Either way, for $7.10 a stick, I'll take my chances with a cigar maker of lesser quality. I just can't afford to buy cigars I that I can't smoke.

I am a fan of Macanudo products but this box of cigars was a huge disappointment. 3 of the 4 I've smoked so far have been very difficult to draw, to the extent that a draw poker is of no use. Additionally, the maduro robustos that were sent for free have been difficult to draw also. I will steer clear of Macanudo in the future. It has been a few years since I've had a maduro from them and it seems their quality control has declined.

Cigar lasts a long time, don't choose this cigar if you don't have the time to smoke it.

I was surprised and impressed by this stick on every level. First off, it looks good enough to eat. Secondly, the construction and draw were perfect. And finally, it great sweet maduro flavor with just a touch of a hint of spice to it. Bought the box to share on a campout with old friends. These smokes were the hit of the weekend.

Service and delivery were excellent. Price seems a bit high relative to quality. I smoke only about two a month. Usually by myself. I like the Macanudo brand and for some years have smoked the Portofino brand. I like these better. For some reason they seem to burn slower in the center of the cigar leaving a spike at the end. It doesn't seem to effect the taste but just looks a little strange. All in all a good cigar from a good provider.

I love to smoke these on the course. During the winter they are very flavorful, and go from a smooth to a tough draw. During dry days they start and stay easy to draw with very good flavor.
