Okay, they smoke hard. 10 of them had a hollow point in the center that wouldn't smoke past. Flavor was good if it smoked longer, the biggest issue was the draw very hard to pull a good smoke from it.

These are really good smokes for the price. Definitely let them sit in the humidor for at least couple of weeks before smoking. They light easily and burn evenly...have had no issues with draw or construction. Mild to medium strength and great flavor, but definitely stronger towards the last 1/3. The green Candela wrapper is unique and adds a bit of flavor to the already smooth creamy flavor that I've come to expect from Dominican cigars. Overall a really good product for the price.

Was expecting a better product. Like smoking air, no flavor, burn issues, wrapper tissue paper thin. But the band is to big and what the hell kind of glue do they use and why are they allowing it to hit the wrapper? Will never buy again, gave most away and got angry feedback. And to think I paid $2.50 a piece plus shipping. Thompson is over priced and delivery is so so slow. I can order from the 2 letter guys and get in 2 days.

A dissapointment. I have smelled these cigars being smoked and have wanted to try some. Then when I read the reviews I had expectations... sweeet, mild, keep people coming back, etc. Flavor was typical at best, then became a little bitter towards the end. I came, I saw, I tasted. This is not the smoke for me.

The biggest disappointment is to much glue on the band. If smoking down to the band 7 out of ten cigars when the band is removed it tears the wrapper off. Otherwise enjoyed the candela wrapper.

This is a great everyday smoke with an outstanding, mild flavor

I ordered the candela robusto's and candela lonsdales. The first cigar and the last one I have tried was a dissapointment. The candela wrapper WILL come loose from normal smoking. The cigar is hard to keep lit. If you take the Iguana band off some of the outer wrapper will come off. If you cut the end, most times the candela wrapper will crack terribly rendering the cigar useless or hard to smoke. The Iguana candela wraper was reported to be sweet. I do not agree. Each cigar was bland to the taste. I did not enjoy the cigars and I still have some to give away. I have kept them in my humidor hoping they would get better. They did not. I rate the Iguana candela wrapper cigars 0, very poor quality, taste, and construction.

This cigar is not complex, but it has such a nice draw and a rich creamy aroma in the room, and a creamy grassy taste on the palate that you find youself going back to it time and time again. One issue is taking off the band, which is so long it covers almost half of the cigar. When you do it peels off the wrapper with it. Please shorten the bands and less glue would be greatly appeciated. Just to mention I smoke down to the band first to heat up the glue and still 50 % of the wrappers tear. Just to add I would rather smoke this cigar than a lot of expensive smokes that claim to be mild and smooth.

I like this as an everyday cigar. Simple grassy, earthy flavor, but just enough creaminess to keep me interested. Main problem is the thin brittle wrapper. Too tight and too long of band. It takes up the whole last 3rd of the cigar. When you try to remove it to enjoy the last 3rd the cigar unravels. Probably tight and long to protect the whole thing from destruction. Need to lose the band so I can enjoy the whole cigar.

Candela the way it used to be. Popular for a reason. Look up "mild" in the dictionary, they show you one of these! Stunned even the "full-bodied" crowd. Clearly a superior product.

This is a great all round cigar.
