Everything about the Gurkha Perfecto is made to resemble a 1957 Cuban. The cigars of each box are tied together in the island fashion; even the limited production boxes are numbered. This Gurkha is an absolutely top-of-the-line Dominican. The Cuban-seed, Dominican-grown long filler tobaccos, every bit on a par with the Cuban Vuelta Abajo, are meticulously selected, aged, and manufactured to the highest industry standards in the traditional Cuban shapes. When added to the five year-old Connecticut Shade wrapper, the result is nothing short of spectacular.

I love the double perfecto and the sale price I was really excited about but I recieved the wrong shape/size. That made me disappointed, but other than that its a great cigar. Everything else I have ordered has been great. I still would recommend Thompson Cigar, but hopefully you get the right shipment.

The pack I received were cracking and unsmokable. The first cigar I pulled out of the pack was already cracked on the wrapper down to the binder and filler. Poor quality. Definitely feel I got sent the rejects.

These are a beautifully made double perfecto that taste as good as they look. A solid medium profile that goes well for a day at the beach or an after dinner smoke. All the earthy, woody, sweet spice notes are there in perfect harmony. They are VERY pricey so stock up when they are on sale.
