I was looking for a cheap but smokable cigar and these are just cheap. Oh well. they have an odd taste to them like they used a filler that wasn't tobacco. Not going to throw them out or send them back. I don't believe that. So will smoke them. Would cost me postage to return anyway.

One of the best cigars I've ever had. Mild and has an easy draw. Pleasant surprise.

Not smokable when I first received them. Moisture content was so high that drawing was laborious, and they would not stay lit for more than a couple of minutes. I literally had to bake them in the oven at low temperature (170) for about a half an hour for them to be smokable. Once dried in that manner the draw and smoke were good. Taste was unimpressive. I actually dried five of them in my Traeger smoker which rendered an interesting aroma from the wrapper and a slight, but pleasing, smoky flavor. I’ll smoke the rest of these, but would not buy them again and cannot recommend them to others.

I was surprised! These cigars are great. Smooth good draw and are a perfect companion to my normal Victor Sinclair Tusker Connecticut. Great find.

This is a good cigar which I only purchased because the CAO cigars I order from Thompson over 6 weeks ago have not come in and I was hoping to have them before summer comes to an end but it’s not looking good I am still holding out hope that they will be in before I have to order some more cigars to tied me over.

These are advertised as the same as the Gran Habana Connecticut but simply an excess. These are not the same cifars. These are good, but not near the normal stick. These are closer to a midrange smoke, similar to the Thompson Explorer. Again, not a bad smoke, but not worth the price. Good draw and construction. Try it for what it is, not for what you hope.

Excellent smoke for your dollar. As good as the regular Gran Habano Connecticut but with a slight wrapper imperfection, perhaps. (And for 66% off MSRP who cares!) Great for around the house, or at the lake, or even to give out as a gift.

Once lit, you can put the cigar down for a few minutes and come back to it and it is still lit and ready to smoke.

So I bought a package of these hoping for an ok everyday cigar. They are well constructed, nice easy draw as most of the Gran Habanos I have bought. Cons: Short fill, not overruns exactly. Flavor is poor. I would compare it to a damp washrag which I attribute to young tobacco. Maybe if these sit for a couple of months they might get better, but for the cost its hard to save them. I will smoke what I have but would not reorder or recommend these.

I love the Connecticut # 1 by Grab Habano, it is probably my favorite cigar since I started smoking cigars, and the Connecticut #1 overruns are no different, but price wise, what a steal. Would reccomend to any one. Great bang for your buck, keep them coming Thompson's.

I have bought their top of the line cigars for awhile. Thought about trying the 2nds. As always Thompson had a great deal so I ordered it. These are as good as their top line cigars with the exception that they are unfilled (soft to the squeeze). Great value.
