Garcia y Vega cigars have Natural leaf wrappers combined with Connecticut, Mexican, and Cameroon tobaccos for a unique taste, while short fillers and binders add the perfect finishing touch to these Dominican cigars. The distinctive greenish color of the Candela wrapper makes this a smooth and very mellow cigar. All essential oils, color and flavor remain sealed in the Candela tobacco.

These cigars are CHEAP compared to most of your cigars,but EXPENSIVE, compared to cigars of my younger days. My only complaint is the burn, most burn very uneven. I'll buy again. gle

In 1976 a salesman was showing me some filing cabinets while smoking one of these. It smelled pretty good to me so I got he name and bought some. They are still the exact same today as they were then. That candela wrapper is special. The long and narrow stick gives plenty of enjoyable smoking time. A leisurely smoke.

As a young man in late 60's early 70's I smoked Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars. They were mild and sweet... priced right... and about the only cigar I ever had that tasted better the longer you smoked it! The anti-smoking craze... family pressures... exorbitant taxes...we drifted apart. Later in spells of nostalgia, I would check out the store cigar displays, but Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars seemed to have went the way of the dodo!! Now in my 70's and retired I stumbled on your advertisement (Thank goodness for the internet) for my old favorite. Few things in your old age are as good as you remembered, but Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars are the rare exception! Many thanks for getting me back together with an old friend.

Reminds me of old fans at Dodger Stadium chomping on their stogies. Non-fermented mild wrappers don't bother your mouth. Grass-like taste and fragrance. Easy smoke, great at the park or garden.

I use these on a pretty regular basis, as they are consistently great at an affordable price! However I find one serious design flaw that, seems to me, should be easily fixable. When opening the tab to light the cigar, the tab fails to properly pull around the cigar, and I have to pick at the paper tab to access the cigar. This very regularly fails, and the cigar itself is ripped or damaged, and I have to discard that smoke. I would estimate having to discard the cigar in about 20% of the openings and in many other cases have to pick at the tab very carefully to save the smoke from damage..
