A surprising winner. The Candela and Indonesian leafs are a smooth burn with decent flavor. This stick has a good construction, a nice draw, and humidifies up well. 30% have had "runs". All-in-all, this is a very good burn.

Sometimes generic cigars are as good as or better than some named brands. This is a very fine product, recommended by an acquaintance. I have smoked the maduro before and was quite pleased with them. The Candela is next up and aside from burning a little unevenly, they have as good a flavor as I've experienced.

Your cigars are great, but the real problem is shipping time. I order from other companies and I get cigars in 3-4 days. Thompson cigars takes 7-10 days. I always pick the cheapest shipping. Your problem is from the time I order online to cigars at my home is way too long. If you can fix that problem, I will order again. For now, it’s just too frustrating to order more. The draw of the cigar is fine, I had no difficulty keeping it lit. I thought the candela wrapper would ensure a mild smoke, but the last third of the cigar was hot and bitter. By the time they arrived they were quite dry, but after a couple of weeks in my humidor they should be fine.

The burn was good for the majority of them. Some did burn down one side quicker than the other side. The aroma was good and the flavor good. Problem I had was cutting the end of the cigar. Cut a small tip off about the size of the clicker end on a ball point pen or you will eat a lot of tobacco.

There are very good. They last me 2-3 hours of smoke. They burn even as they draw is perfect. The flavor is medium. The wrapper is nice. It doesn’t peel or tear. Word of advice when you get these make sure you put them in your humidor for at least 3+ days before smoking these. They come to You dry way too dry for a cigar.

I was surprised and slightly disappointed that a drew estate cigar would be this bad. I had maybe 2 draws of the first stick and immediately gave up. It was very bland and flavorless. Super loose draw. I have always enjoyed DE cigars especially the factory smokes, but this one just doesn’t cut it. Ended up returning the bundle and picking up the factory smokes sweet bundle which I have always enjoyed

I have concerns when ordering from Thompson as they are typically older, drier cigars that do not burn well. Unfortunately with these Factory Smokes Candela cigars the same is true. The flavor was good but the construction is poor, causing uneven burning, wrapper coming apart which make it difficult to enjoy. I have had factory smokes before from other sources without these issues so I wonder if these have been kept properly before being shipped to me.

As a daily utility cigar, this beauty us one that should be in every humidor. It has a good taste and Burns well and usually evenly. It has adequate smoke that is pleasing that dissipate adequately. Properly smoked, this baby can stretch your morning coffee into a two hour session. If you set it down to do a chore or two, it relights nicely. I ordered these cigars online. Only a partial address was printed on the shipping label. Our Post Office sent them back. When I called the young lady continued to tell me that was the address I gave. I asked for a supervisor, and she hung up on me. I called back again and got a very helpful young man who agreed the address label was incorrect and reshipped the cigars. BTW I waited on hold a total of 1 1/2 hours total to resolve this issue.

I picked these up as "Fishing and Golfing' cigars, basically a cheap smoke that has a high likelihood of getting wet, smashed, or left behind. But I've been highly pleased with them overall. Flavor is super mild, and a consistent taste. The draw is a little inconsistent, but they seem to burn reasonably even. If I'm going to sit down for a 90 min smoke with a glass of bourbon, I'd probably go with a more premium smoke, but these have been great for my intended purpose. I'll be purchasing again.

The candela leaf is tasty, but delicate. The tobacco is packed with small scrap cuttings from more expensive sticks. Since a 6 X 60 burns for a considerable time, care must be taken to keep the end intact, otherwise you can easily get a mouthful of tobacco bits. That is the primary reason these smokes are affordable. Other than that they burn well and taste like something costing more. There is a contrast in the taste of the Candela leaf vs the filler leaf that makes it an interesting rotational smoke, but it is by no means a finger burner. If your playing golf it will last most of the game or walking the dog for 2 to 3 miles. I have had factory smokes in all available wrappers. This is not my favorite, but it is an interesting change in taste from the traditional flavors. When I was younger, I refused to smoke Candela because it reminded me of heaving on a Jamaican beach after smoking a green fake Cohiba purchased from a beach vendor.

Candela wrapper is very thin. Using a cutter shredded the end. Use a punch instead. Barely any flavor. It did burn well enough in spite of inconsistent packing.

I like candellas so l was excited to find this new offering. And l admit this is a pretty tasty cigar. But of the hundreds of stoggies l have smoked over the years these are the WORST about burning down one side. This cigar is a good everyday smoke. I usually try different cigars and was pleasantly surprised at this one. Only problem is that bits of fill get into my mouth and sometimes the wrapper will start tearing; but overall it's a good smoke. I would buy this one again sometime.

I got these as a change of pace - the candela wrapper adds a grassy note to a mild but flavorful smoke. And Thompson is one of the only places that carries DE Factory Smokes in a candela wrapper. Not a fancy boutique country club smoke - a good solid "roll up yer sleeves and git to it" ceegar.
