Don Rafael 2004 Connecticut has been my go to cigar for years so I decided to give these fumas a try. I'm about halfway through the lot. A few had a difficult draw for the first inch but then drew fine. All burned well and had a good taste. As others noted they do seem to be loosely rolled. However I only had construction issues with one that come apart on the end. For the price these are a pretty good smoke.

Great, light daily cigar! According to my count I have purchased nearly 1400 of these so far! I typically have 1-2 cigars per 40 pack that are broken, rolled too tight/too loose, I can accept that. However, recently on (PO#021918, DFN-PM-1001) I had 12 to 15 cigars that were damaged and un-smokeable in their entirety, that's 30-37%, that's unacceptable. Please try and do better.

Almost every cigar of the 80 cigar package is very hard to draw. Used to be my favourite morning mild cigar. Now it is really pain in the behind and struggle to smoke it. Wouldn’t recommend it and will not buy again if customers service don’t replace it or take it back!

These cigars are not bad although some seem to burn a bit hot and some come unraveled while you smoke. Watch out ordering from Thompson Cigars online though. There is a very SMALL box pre-selected to subscribe to a magazine that you may not want. In addition to receiving the unexpected magazine, you will get solicitations from that and other similar magazines.

Not GOOD. Actually worst fumas I've ever smoked. Just a bunch of dried leaves, chopped up, rolled into a super thin wrapper. Don't waste your money on these. Many wrappers began to unravel after 3rd draw. I assumed Don Rafael would make a decent fuma, since I've enjoyed other cigars with their name, but not these. Waste of money.

Generally a good deal . The burn is very good and even like cigars costing much more. A few cigars in this bundle did arrive damaged in the wrapper and I had to throw a pair out as the draw was adversely affected. The size belied the length of the cigars burn time which was surprisingly long.

I understand these were not “expensive“ cigars, but I did expect a more quality cigar. Finally, I received an order of cigars, these are the only ones I’ve been ordering, that don’t have breaks in them and are wrapped where they actually draw. I was about to give up on you guys. But from henceforth, I find a broken one in the order, I will Send it back, can you get to do it all over again..

Overall decent everyday smoke, but packing needs improvement. Not sure due to short filler issues or long skinny size of Lonsdale. Tried both cutting end as well as just a punch, but small pieces of tobacco will end up in mouth throughout, often hard to keep lit and draw. Bought for price of 2 pack bundle but otherwise probably buy something better constructed next time.

Worst product ever bought at Thompson. It was a great price for everyday cigars. I have a nice Thompson bought humidor. I don’t know whether they are very old or not properly stored but I have 2 break before I lit them. Very loose packed on end that one must struggle to draw from the other end. Should be pulled from stock if all of them are like this. What I have been able to fight through and smoke, fairly good and mild smoke. For the price a good choice but not in the condition I received them.
