I have been ordering from Thompson for over 15 years without any problems and have previously always been happy with their products. I don't know what happened this latest time but I received the Fumas "sweets", not what I was expecting. I thought I was ordering what I've been ordering for years, the Don Rafael Fumas Lonsdale Connecticut 2-Fer Pack of 80. Instead I got the Fumas "sweets". I called customer service and explained to them what happened and the representative indicated that he would email me a return label and order a replacement with the correct order. I waited a few days but did not receive the return label or a confirmation email that the replacement had been ordered. I called customer service a second time on 12/28/23 to check on the status of the first call and was told by the representative that she could find no record of the first call associated with my account. She assured me that she would correct it. Following the call I received the return label and the confirmation email for the replacement. I dropped off the return on 12/29/23 and waited for an email that my replacement order had been shipped. I've been checking on my reorder status ever since and all I can ascertain is that the replacement order is "processing". Not sure what's going on, but this is the worst experience I've ever had over all the years. Completely dissatisfied.

Previous 4 orders of these were great. These however are so tight that they have no draw. Will need to get a draw tool to open them up.

Falls apart too easily. I've yet to smoke one that didn't fall apart and make me spit tobacco leaves every few minutes.

Best daily cigar out there. Generally draw well, taste fine, and can be smoked to the end.

They burned pretty good after I eventually got them lit right and puffed correctly. But they could burn better in my opinion but I am a novice cigar smoker so maybe that is great. I lit the cigar and had to keep lighting its edges and puffing for a while till I got the perfect cigar so that can be said for it. It eventually half way through burned perfect and was a delight.

Nice smooth sweet cigar, burn evenly a little loosely wrapped, but a good bargain for the price. I would purchase these again.

Okay cigar, good substitute, hint of flavor is okay, bit of a harsh bite but holds up. Probably would not purchase again but it's ok.

I’m not happy with them. Rapper is very thin, flakes off kinda easily. When smoking one I’m constantly spitting out pieces.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this cigar of 10 a very delightful taste burns a pure white ash no bite in the cigar and I highly recommend it.

These cigars were not tightly packed. When you clip the cigar to smoke it, the cigar comes apart. the wrapper pulls away, then the binder falls apart. This usually happens in the first 1/4 of the cigar. by the time you are down to 1/2 of a cigar it falls apart in your hand. Got now where with CS on these issues. was told how to store the cigars, they came to me this way.

Just a touch of flavor (sweet) you can taste before you light it. Burns straight&mild. This is a much under-rated cigar--my new favorite since most of the others have gone away.Will buy again for sure.

Cigars have a nice, sweet Tast. But all I have smoked become very dried out and fall apart. Most do not draw very well If you unwrap one you better smoke it then, if not it will start to crumble within the next day. I would not buy these again. I have smoked this BRAND before, but they came in a box, they were Great.

Quite disappointed with these. Bought them for an everyday knock around smoke. Got about two to actually stay lit out of the first six I tried , the other four just fell apart. Very poorly rolled and dry. Sent them back would not buy again. Not sweet at all.

While I thought these had a decent flavor they were packed way too loose. They would start to fall apart a third of the way through. It gets to a point were they were too annoying to even want to smoke them.

Been smoking these for a while. Pretty good. Put together pretty well. Most smoke nicely. About two out of twenty have either wrapping or draw issues. With discounts and free shipping they can cost less than a buck a stick.

Generally easy smoking, occasional wrapper defects make draw difficult.

THE SIZE IS OK IF YOU JUST WANT A QUICK SMOKE, BURNS WELL, HAS A SLIGHT SWEET TASTE TO THE CAP, STRENGTH IS MILD, HAS AN INTERESTING, ALMOST NUTMEG LIKE FLAVOR.

A few of these cigars are loosely wrapped, so they fall apart when cut. A few of them were compromised and when I took a pull the air was leaking from the side not allowing me to get a full smoke. Some also had to be relit several times. I’d say 2 of 5 cigars were substandard. But they are cheap, so I expected this. So I’ll give 3 of 5 stars because 3 of 5 cigars were decent smokes. I’m not a big fan of how sweet they are either. But I have gotten used to it.

A lot of these had a soft tip, but cut off about 1/2 inch to remove. Not sure if less tobacco or damp like. Good smoke though.

These are great cigars for the price. I am amazed that there are no lingering after taste in my mouth, no lingering odor on my clothing either. These cigars are not tightly rolled, although, I would prefer they where. I have introduced these San Rafael Fumas to some of my buds,and they were amazed as well. My order of 80 cigars are diminishing fast. Almost time to reorder. Thank you Thompson Cigars for offering them!

Draw easy. Mild taste. Order was on time. One complaint is that the cigar’s outside wrapper on a few of them is too lose and actually unraveled as you smoke them! Not sure I’ll order these again.

The Don Rafael Lonsdale Sweets are very good with just the right amount of sweetness and not too long of a smoke, very nice, smooth smoke. I will be buying more soon.

The last batch of 80 I got only 1 package of the bundle 40 where smashed from shipping. 19 of the cigars where cracked and busted... but not bad out of 80 plus cigars... other than that good. I just reordered 40 more to replace them. Have a big Herf happening so their in need. Lol

My advice is to save your money -I think I’m going to throw them away.

About half the pack the paper was broken at the label. So they didn't smoke correctly or not at all unless you cut at the break and smoked it from there

This is a great everyday cigar , the sweet or the regular, normally a good firm roll, but every once in awhile you do get a bundle of loose rolled , but overall for the money , you can not beat this cigar. great taste , even on a re light.
