waste of money

Thought I would try these. I periodically look for an inexpensive cigar for times like yard work or projects or things where you don't feel bad if you don't finish it. I was hoping these would fit the bill. Unfortunately, a good majority of them unravel due to poor construction. They also burn pretty fast, although I would expect that of a low end cigar. Normally I go with JC Newman factory throw outs. Think I'll stick to them for a decent inexpensive cigar.

Kind of HARD to ENJOY any cigars when GETTING A TOTAL RUN A ROUND when call (3, 4 and 5 TIMES!) AND "STILL" not able to reach ANYONE that WILL HELP! "YOU" did this, "I" HAVE BEEN trying to resolve the matter!

I have the slight misfortune to be on DISABILITY, I am extremely limited to any purchases, so My current purchases are very limited, BUT I look forward to increased traffic in coming months. The help given there at THOMPSON has been EXCELLENT! I can not PRAISE you enough.

Good cigar for the price. Uneven draw every now and then, but overall a good flavor.

I buy this Sampler all the time. I've never had holes, thin or damaged cigars. I did get "one" bundle somewhat stale but haven't sense. And if there is any one cigar you don't like grab another, that's what is great about Samplers! You really can't go wrong!

Was hoping to find some decent sticks for mid day breaks that are less expensive. These had lots wrapper problems (holes and cracks - extremely thin) A couple of the varieties tasted ok but overall, not so much. Live and learn.

I usually buy and smoke cigars to enjoy them while winding down. Not usually a cheap-cigar smoker. I thought I'd get some cheap cigars to see the difference and oh boy.. theres a big difference. I couldn't finish a couple of these because that's how bad they are. They're rolled fine for the most part and smoke decently but they taste pretty bad. If you're looking for a cheap cigar you don't care about then these are probably good. Now I just give these to my friends whenever they visit because they don't know much about cigars.

I received these cigars as part of the cigar club, they arrived dry and the wrapper cracking. I smoked only half of the first cigar poor smoke and flavor.

Hands down the worst cigars I have ever purchased. Some cigars didnt even have the wrapper or binder completed. Some split and blew straight down the middle after being lit for 2 minutes. (yes, my humidor is correct and the cigars spent a week in there if not more.) I will never purchase these again. Take my advice, RUN.

Cigars had/have a musty, mildew aroma and flavor. Don't know if they all had the problem or if only one brand affected the others.

Between the plastic and nails I don't want any more, cancel my future orders

The variety is great!

Although these cigars are very reasonable priced I am not very happy with the construction of these cigars. They are not too bad for the price and generally the draw is good with a few exceptions but not really happy with the way they burn or the flavor. a Few of them came apart when I cut them.

There is a nice selection. All are smooth to mild. Great relaxing smoke. They pair well with a good bourbon or whisky.

These are horrid! Hard draw, no flavor! Tissue thin wrapper and binder and the filler is full of stems and rotted spots on the tobacco. I opened one up to see just what poor quality was in the cigar before I threw the rest in the trash!

Ive been smoking cigars for years. I ordered 2 packs of these samplers, one for a friend and 2 for me. We both agree, that these are some of the most flavorful and smooth cigars on the market, for the value. Will definitely order more.

I am a weekend smoker and have thoroughly enjoyed the Dominican Toro Sampler. The price per stick is a great value for a really good smoking cigar. I rarely have any issues with the burn or draw across the 5 different labels.

I have a cigar when I golf. Nice medium to mild smokes. Once in a while you get one with a stick in it and it gives you a bad uneven burn.

Everystick in my package had some type of cosmetic defect: crown coming off, seed bumps. The smell of the cigars gibes all cigar smokers a bad name.

Rated 4 stars based on value. Very mellow, solid performers. Great for an everyday smoke or round of golf where a premium wouldn't be savored and enjoyed as it should be.

In my experience, these were a great buy for the money. Great for easing into the evening with a cocktail and to share with a buddy. Great for the golf course.

Tried this sampler as a novice cigar smoker a couple of years ago. It has become the "go to" gift for family and friends on their birthday's, anniversary's and holidays.

Great for on the golf course and just relaxing on the back deck with a good scotch.

I realized that I liked all of the cigars in the sampler. They all tasted good and smoked good. So, I ordered multiple samplers. I now have 8 samplers in my humidor.

Hard to draw, no flavor

Some of them are decent but mostly not something I would buy again. Some of them were already too dry and would not keep together.

I like your packages that include cutters, lighters, etc. The packaging is neat and protective.

Some of these we're really good but a few were hard to draw.

Since my first name is "DON" it seems appropriate that my cigar has my name on it. Beyond that, it is a reasonably good cigar at a very reasonable price.

Have sampled a few of these cigars, all are smooth. Some nicer than others.

Not bad smokes for the price. Probably mostly seconds - a few packed too tight; defects in the wrapper; etc. But overall a very economically good smoke. Would I buy them again? All I can say is that I have bought them again and again and again.

Share when hosting parties with the people that always say they would really like a smoke and then put it down after ten minutes. Mild enough to not turn your "veteran" smokers green.

These are really bad cigars. Way over priced. Throw the cigars away and smoke the box they come in. Low.. low cuality.

I bought this product for my husband as a gift. He loved them and shared them with friends. Everyone enjoyed how smooth and mild they were.

I smoke one a day. They burn slow and even. Pretty good flavor -- mild. A couple of the wrappers came undone while smoking, and one had a hard draw. Overall smooth and a very good smoking experience, especially for the price paid. I live alone so I can't speak to how others perceive them 2nd hand. My 12-year-old lab doesn't mind them, though!

I purchased these as I was looking for a daily smoke for under $2.00 / stick. I really cannot afford to smoke 3 of my 6 to 10 dollar cigars per day. These cigars are mild and have a decent taste. The biggest problem I have with this product is consistency. Some have a tight draw and some won't stay lit.

Most of the cigars are good. There is a few bad ones in the bunch. Rolled too tight - hard to draw. But an ice pick rammed down the center usually takes of this problem.

The sweet spot kicks in half way through the cigar.

Everything is fine about this sampler. However, the Don Augusto's all had green spots on the wrapper and tasted awful. I would skip this sampler in the future but I may order some Don Lugos as I thought of them as a nice smoke.

While the mild to medium flavor of these cigars is good there are too many in the batch that won't draw and which appear to have too much binder and not enough filler as the ash is dark not gray as it should be. The cap on these cigars is poorly done. If I could count on these cigars drawing and with a decent cap I surely would buy them again.

A daily smoke that produced dry, harsh,cigars with wrappers that were unwrapping. Sadly, after I contacted customer service, the relief I was promised never came about. I am greatly disappointed with Thompson.

These smokes go well with my morning coffee. They have a nice even light ash burn with an occasional re-light. I do enjoy a good Perdomo at night but these are a good daily smoke.
