These won’t achieve a 95 rating, but they will provide a good, smooth smoke for every day without breaking the bank. Using a draw poker will result in a more even burn although most of them will burn evenly without the poke.

I was on backorder for the DSR'S When they were finally available , they were far from fresh . May have been a good cigar, but they were old

The cigars felt and tasted like they were very dry and not up to standards. Probably won't purchase this one again.

Arrived fresh. Taste really bad. I could only imagine that they contained meadow muffins. Tried several all same horrible taste. Threw them away. So bad would not give them away to homeless

These are a good example of the saying, "you get what you pay for". They were one step above the flavor, taste and quality of those Phillies cigars I used to smoke 25 years ago! Don't just stay away from them, run away as fast as you can!

The most important quality in a cigar is draw. No matter how high the ratings, if the draw is not good, the cigar is not good. The DSRs have a nice easy draw, making them an enjoyable every-day cigar.

Well made, consistent, decent flavor for the price. Great everyday cigar. It seems to me that in the cheaper cigars, the short fillers are generally a better smoke than the long fillers and this is no exception. The less expensive long filler cigars usually have hard spots or impossible to draw.

Great cigar for the price. Short filler. Good construction. Easy draw. It's been my experience that a short filler burns and smokes better than a long filler in most inexpensive cigars and these are really nice.

A great everyday smoke. The wrapper is supposed to be Connecticut, but looks like Corojo. Very nice cigar for the price.

I have a cigar in my mouth about 4 hours a day. Do not inhale but certainly enjoy the easy, smooth draw of the Torpedo and the Churchill. A nice distraction for a busy guy that's easily bored. I buy 4-6 bundles at a time for additional savings. Couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. Passersby always comment what good smell they emit. Occasionally the wrapper may peel but it's due to the Id band i choose to remove.

Good flavor, consistent taste, short filler tends to fall out when cut. All in all, a great cigar for the price.

Now part of my rotation. I alternate a Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan Short Run each week, smoking one of the three any given day. These are really fine smokes and the price is amazing. Can't go wrong with these, although I may bump up to the Churchill for longer enjoyment.

I like some of the DSR line and like torpedoes however I found these to sometimes be so loosely rapped they burn-up quickly. You can tell by how light they are when you pick one up.

This is a nice, low-cost torpedo with a mild flavor. It doesn't overwhelm you with complexity but is consistent in build quality, better than some others I've tried unless you move up a couple more dollars per stick into the top shelf.
