This box of usually great cigars was stale! Everyone of the cigars in the box was obviously very old. Some of the wrappers actually cracked and peeled half way through the smoke. If you don’t have a shelf live monitoring system I recommend you implement one. Very disappointing!

Never smoked a cigarette in my life, but you don't serve 32 years in the Canadian Army without becoming a cigar lover. Smoked my first Best Seller on the back patio at the Arizona Biltmore a few years ago, and was hooked. Perfect for Mess Dinners (one of the few places left in the world where you can actually light up after eating, with your Vintage Port). Ideal on the sidewalk sitting in front of the Fuente shop in Las Vegas. Great sitting around the pool at home in Sun Lakes, AZ - my wonderful wife has been known to move downwind to enjoy the aroma!. Best of all, on my back porch at our summer home near Show Low AZ, listening to Jason Isbell or Balsam Range in the deep evening. Only complaint is that these babies are sometimes hard to find, but worth the effort.

I almost never write reviews but this cigar, for me, was so lousy I had to write onw. I ordered 10 of these because of the excellent reviews. Maybe I received a bad batch but I smoked half of one and put it out. I can't decide what to do with the other 9. I know I won't smoke them and I wouldn't risk losing a friend by giving these to them! They probably go in the garbage. These cigars are pretty strong, have almost no flavor and are very bitter and harsh. Very disappointing!!

So far my favorite Fuente. If you offer me an Opus X, God's of Fire & a Hemingway, I will take the Hemingway every time. The others left me wanting, this one did the job. Great flavor just the right amount of kick. Take this for what it is "Just my opinion".

The wrapper had many imperfections, including a tear where the glue from the band attached to the wrap. The first third just wouldn't burn evenly no matter what I tried, once it finally balanced out it burned great. Flavor was nice throughout, even with the stated issues it was a good smoke; just not the premium cigar I had built it up to be in my mind. Not sure if I would recommend this cigar without trying another to see if it was just one that slipped past the quality control.

The small size and large gage make the Hemingway perfect when you have 20-30 minutes and you want to relax with a beverage and a cigar. Easy, cool draw and rich flavor. It is not the only cigar I smoke but the one I enjoy most often.

Ash held up well. Love the wrapper and the shape. Burned cool and changed as smoked as a perfect should. Just don't know if I prefer this to the Short Story. I like the flavor of both, had tried the smaller Short Story first but wanted something slightly larger. The smaller one may be actually a bit better and the size difference is minimal anyway.
