Holy smokes is most appropriate, I've had a few of these, but the assortment of finely selected cigars in this sampler is amazing. No nonsense fancy "don Carlos" junk, just good quality highly rated cigars, this selection feels like a personal gift from a good friend, and I really mean it, Thank you to Thompson cigar.

I would have rated this higher had I received the correct cigars. About half of them were substituted with no notice from Thompson that substitutions were made. At least one of the substitutions was a different brand - I got Punch instead of Don Lino.

When you read "backordered", it's Thompson's code for "we don't have a clue when you'll get your order". Or "this is a great cigar but we can't get it, so here's a recommendation for a lesser cigar". This collection here is a great example. I ordered it months ago, but haven't seen it. I currently have three unfilled orders with Thompson dating back over two months. Classic bait and switch. Thompson used to be great. Now they're not. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

These are fantastic. I especially like the smooth flavor of the My Father and the RP. I had some trouble keeping the Aging Room burning properly but overall a good set.

I've enjoyed the medium to full body decade and aging room cigars at night after dinner or in the morning with coffee.

They are all great, some more than others. The My Father cigars are Outstanding, and rest pretty close. I will order more.

Great mix of premium sticks for an excellent price! Cigars arrived in perfect condition. You hear oily wrappers referenced a lot, but this is the first sampler I've ordered in which the wrappers actually had a nice sheen to them! Great tastes, great variety, I'm satisfied!

Awesome for the money. Allows you to try some different ones. All have been good. Let them set in humi for couple weeks to settle in. Nice leather taste in a lot of these with hay notes and cedar. Not a lot of profile changes but good. Nice for the money. These would cost you 8-11 a piece in local shop.

Smokes nice and even. Little dry when they came in but that is expected. Just put in humidor for 24 hours and they are good to go.

The Don Lino was a nice surprise for me, first time trying it and was not at all dissapointed. The flor de las Antillas continues to be one of my top five cigars in that price range. Not a bad cigar in the batch and a great way to share new sticks with a friend having the six duplicates.

Overall taste, smoothness, and aroma are very good. Overall good construction, burn, and flavor.

Some of the cigars in the sampler were too full bodied for my taste. However, overall I was more than satisfied with the selection.

One of the reasons I bought this sampler was to try the Rocky Patel Decade, they substituted the Vintage 1990 which is a good smoke, I will have to wait to try the Decade.

good value for daily smokes! as with any sampler, a couple I wasn't crazy about, and a couple of loose wraps. None of them left any bad aftertaste or had juicy stuff.

Once again, all of the cigars in this Dynamic Dozen were very enjoyable. I did smoke a few with friends and, once again, everyone who tried one liked it very much. Every one of these sticks was very easy to light and all had great, almost effortless draw with great taste to back it up. The quality and consistency of these cigars was impressive, and it was very evident why all were 90's. I am aware that one of the criteria for this commentary is supposed to address thing that aren't so great about it, but, since I thoroughly enjoyed this purchase, I don't really have any negative comment to add. This was a great purchase at a great price, and a lot of bang for the buck.

This is another high quality sampler from Thompson, and the quality really is great. What's not so great is what you actually get. First off, most of the cigars are robustos; don't expect much of anything the size of what the picture leads you to believe. Secondly, because Thompson reserves the right to swap out cigars due to availability, don't expect to get some or most of the cigars advertised. Personally, I received only 3 cigars that were advertised, 3 that were swapped. This was a huge bummer because I was excited to try those specific cigars that were advertised.

I got 2 wrong cigars and when I contacted CS they were unprofessional, I had to close my account and lost all my points, I will never order from this company ever again.

Absolutely a great representation of these different companies. The Brick House are a new favorite. Thanks for offering such a great sampler, Thompson.

I brought this sampler for me and my friend which works out perfectly as there's two of each cigar. For the most part, everything was fine. One of the cigars wrappers loose around the cap which was a little annoying but I wasn't to concerned. My biggest problem with the sampler is that you don't get what's advertised. I know Thompson reserves the right to substitute an equal valued cigar but I think they at least ought to updated the samplers page so the people know what is and isn't available and maybe even potential replacements. Also the Aging Room m356 came in cellophane that was sealed with a banner boasting that it was the #2 cigar of the year. This was simply not true and seemed somewhat deceptive to those who may not know that the f55 concerto is the real #2 cigar of the year. Don't get me wrong, all the cigars I received were good cigars and I enjoyed them, but not knowing what I was going to receive, and then the deceptive packaging did bother me a lot. All in all, for 50 dollars, it's worth it for most people.

Got this sampler as a gift and while they are decent cigars that I received, they are not what Thompson says they are. Don't expect to get what they say but you'll get decent cigars just the same.

Half the cigars were not the ones shown in picture. Flor De Las Antillas is Robusto, not Toro size. It says it's "the #1 cigar of 2012" which is not true - the Toro size was #1. Very disappointing.

Basically everyone should purchase this sampler. A great range of tastes within the sampler and it may confirm your tastes or send you in a whole new direction. My favorite was the Flor De Las Antilles with Aging room a close second. Both cigars had nice flavor and discernable notes but still incredibly smooth and smokable. I now can order a box with confidence.

Stored in my favorite humidor, saved for a special smoke. Gave one to my nephew on his birthday.

I enjoy trying various cigars. I like the 90 rated super sampler and was not disappointed! I found that the Brick House was the strongest in the bunch! It knocked me out! After work, I like to relax on my patio and light one up!

With the cigars in this bunch it gives you a great range of strength and flavors to try. Fantastic deal for $4 a stick. All cigars had perfect construction and smoke great. This is a must buy!

I bought this samler after having a little chat with Raymond(super knowlegable) about it was right on the spot. So far have had the Cusano, Torano Vault, Brickhouse and Aging Room. The other 2 left will be smoked in the following days. All great picks and excellent customer service.

Just finished my first choice from this set - a Vault Torano. Perfect burn, creamy taste that has subtle changes throughout the smoke. Good to the last puff. What a fantastic sampler pack...easily one of the best bargains at Thompson. I have absolutely no complaints on any of these. My sampler even included two of the Aging Room F55's - North American #1 LEGAL cigar of 2013. How can you go wrong?

Ordered these to see what all the hype is about and even though i only smoked 3 of the different kinds they have been phenomenal. One thing though i was looking forward to a don lino 1989 maduro torpedo but i got a robusto, oh well. Anyways, there all great so far and looking forward to trying out some other top rated cigars.

Enjoy any of these fine cigars with a good wine or scotch. I light one up while watching NFL RED ZONE. These cigars burn evenly all the way down and the taste is just as described...they all are 90+ in my book!

Good smoke, the only issue I have is that I didn't get the Don Lino, which were the ones I wanted to try but the rest look, smoke, and taste great.

I have tried the Flor de las Antillas and it's a phenomenal cigar. Having tried this cigar, and seeing that the Cusano 18 and Aging Room were part of this package I jumped on this deal because I've always wanted to try the two. At the time of writing, I've just finished all the cigars and I cannot say I recommend this package of cigars for one reason: The Torano Vault was absolutely disgusting. Not because of the cigar itself, but the Torano Vaults were a tad dry upon receiving. But more than that, the draw was far firmer than most gas station cigars. What gives? The flavors were okay, and after not enjoying the first, I thought it may have been a dud. But after the second, I couldn't even reach the half-way point. I did try.. I waited, and waited for it to be different, but it was not even smokable. They ran out of the Don Lino and gave me some Barrel Aged cigars, which I loved. The Brickhouses were great all-around cigars for everyday uses. The Cusano 18 were very smooth and creamy and gave off a delicious aroma. Of course, the Flor de la Antillas were sublime as usual. These cigars all had great draws, some had burning problems but that doesn't bug me much. One had a wrapper imperfection but that's okay as well. I enjoyed these. This was my first order with Thompson and the condition of the Vaults make me a bit weary about ordering again. Not because I don't like these cigars in their normal condition, but I honestly believe the Vaults were either not stored properly or something. 2 out of 10 cigars in that condition is quite a high number.

I've tried one of each and I will be buying more of these cigars.

10 of the 12 cigars are midgets. The Don Lino's are only 4" long. Don't buy based on the picture.

Like to sample cigars after a tryintg day

I was upset when they arrived, they substituted the Aging Room M356 cigars for below 90 rated substitues. Further more they advertise that you will be getting two of the "Cigar of the Year" which was the "Toro", but they sent the Robusto. I was mostly upset that they substited out the Aging Room as they have plenty of them in stock, when I called to ask if their customer service would assist in addressing my concern they explained there is nothing as a company that they can do to fix their errors and Illegal Substitution ( as they clearly have plenty Aging Rooms in stock! ) They also did not include the 5 premium cigars with my first order as a Cigar Club Member, but explained that they will ship them out now that I called to complain. I do not feel this is a good way to do business with a first time customer, I have never had to call and fix orders with any other cigar companies out there. It is my opinion that Thompson Cigar will cut corners every chance they can. I'm very dissappointed.

This was a nice sampler for the money at $29. Cigars were very similar in flavor; didn't provide much variety except for the Aging Room cigar, which had something of a briny flavor. Not bad, but interesting.

Thompson's 90 Rated Dynamic Dozen is a force to be reckoned with. In my humble opinion this is one of the company's best values in their quite extensive line up. Six different brands, twelve sticks total. The hardest question you'll have, is which one should I smoke first? I started with the Cusano 18. I was excited because this would be my first Cusano and if it lived up to what I had heard I knew I was in for a treat. WOW! The first thing you notice is the golden Connecticut wrapper. This medium body cigar fills the mouth with a rich palate of flavors with a full complex finish. The 18 year aged Dominican filler really help set this one apart. The Don Lino 1989 is another Dominican offering that is well worth the wait. This medium bodied little stick of dynamite produces a lot of flavor with a gorgeous oily maduro wrapper. The smoke was moderate and the stick grew in intensity the farther down I went. The Torano Vault had lots of smoke, is full bodied and has a great finish. The Brickhouse I found to be medium bodied with avery complex flavors which made me want to smoke another one as quickly as possible. I'm a tea lover and I could have sworn I tasted some tea leaves in this one. Lots of smoke and lots of flavor. The Aging Room M356 was consistent from start to finish. Again, lots of smoke and tons of flavor. From the first draw to the last this mild to medium body beauty really got my attention. I like it so much I went inside and placed an order for more. I saved the Flor de las Antillas for last. This was my first one and I guarantee it will not be the last. This box pressed little sweetie is flawless from beginning to end. The Garcia family is known for their full bodied sticks. This medium body gem should not be missed. GREAT finish with hints of pepper and spice. Every stick in this group was easy to light, had great ash and a GREAT draw. Lots of flavor and every stick had a wonderful finish. Get this one while you can.

TO BEGAN WITH, ALL OF THESE CIGARS ARE SMALL IN SIZE, WHICH IS A MAJOR THING THAT BUGHS ME WITH THOMPSON. EVERY CATALOG I KNOW OF GIVE YOU THE SIZE OF CIGARS THAT MAKE UP A SAMPLER. IF YOU GET 20 MIN SMOKING TIME OUT OF THESE YOUR DOING WELL. MY NEXT MAJOR LET DOWN WAS SMOKING THE NUMNBER ONE RATED CIGAR. I'M NOT SURE WHO MAKE THESE SUPER STARTS, BUT I KNOW OF FAR BETTER CIGARS THAN THE ONE RATED BEST IN THE WORLD. MY LAST ORDER

Aging room and vault were my favorites. I'm considering a box purchase of the aging room.
