The short filler was the most annoying thing for me. Flavor was OK and seemed to leave a bad after taste for me, wrapper kept coming undone and most haven't smoked evenly. I'll stick with Thompsons house brand Churchill Maduros.

This cigar tastes OK, but it is shoddy construction. The filler, which is short, is constantly shedding bits and pieces into my mouth. The cigar is soft and burs at 2-3 times the rate of another of that size. I had a coupon and paid only $6.96 for them and it wasn't worth that.

As a daily cigar smoker, expensice cigars just aren't affordable. These cigars arw priced affordably, yet have a good taste for a cigar in this price range. You get what you pay for, but, with these cigars, you g et a bit more.

I have a horse farm and am outside most days so i wanted something inexpensive to get me thru the day. I have been trying some different cigars to find one for my everyday smoke. This was a bad decision as most of the cigars in the first bundle were so loose they would just fall apart. Never saw a cigar burn like a cigarette (left one in an ash tray and when I came back in the house it had burned about 3.5 inches by itself). I have made many purchases from Thompson and this is the only one where I wish I had sent them back but they were my choice so I will smoke them, just won't reorder them......

We bought the two-fer in order to pass out cigars in celebration of our daughter's birth. I don't actually smoke but I made an exception since we had leftover cigars. I was actually delighted by the flavor, considering I'm usually turned off by cigar smoke. I'm going to assume that the cigars that turn me off are low end sticks. These are great, by comparison. Only con is that the outer wrapper on a couple were thin in spots, thus drawing air through the imperfection. But it's just fine for the price. All my buddies that received one enjoyed then also.

Overall this is a good cigar at a great value. Don't let the dark wrapper fool you into thinking it's Too strong. It is a nice medium cigar with the only Down side is bits of tobacco come free from the filler And you have to spit them out.

Most Maduro wrappers come apart and are very sensitive but these were just outstanding and the flavor was so mild and tasty I was surprised. The draw wasn't rough and I have smoked cigars for a while so I inhale to get the full effect and this had less drag than cigarettes(which I smoked for 32 Years). One note, everything tastes better with a snifter of great sippin' something.

I've smoked 20 different cigars and there are two I highly recommend - 829's and Honduran Short Run (HSR's). All my smokes are Churchill's so I do not have any recommendations concerning other types of cigars. However, if you're looking for great cigar(s) with cosistant smoothness for any occassion, the 829 and HSR are my choices.

I enjoy a good Maduro wrapper and these are good everyday smokes for little cost. I prefer a Rocky Patel 1990 but the cost is too much for me for an everyday smoke. I enjoyed these and think they are a good value for the cost.

I like to sit outside on nice summer days and have a few cigars while I read a good book. These cigars are long lasting and smoke well but have trouble holding their shape after the end is cut. It is very irritating to constantly have to spit dry tobacco out of your mouth because it is flaking off from the end. I could flick the unburt end and get as much tobacco flying out as I would flicking an ash from the burnt end. I don't think I will order these again.
