601 Black returns. Espinosa rereleased 601 Black, a brand originally released by the now-defunct EO Brands jointly owned by Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega. The current version of the 601 Black is an annual limited release that is scheduled to feature a new vitola every year. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper draped over Nicaraguan long-fillers and binder. Checking in with a medium-bodied profile, you'll find this blend to be more flavorful than the average Connecticut-wrapped sticks.

These are lighter than the original 601 Black from EO Brands that were my favorite back in the day. They don’t have the pepper taste like they used to. Craving that pepper. I wish Eddie and Erik would get along and make some old school 601 Blacks! I still have the bands from EO that you can use for merchandise.
