This works great, it is easy to use and fill, lights consistently and burns clean and strong. It is a good weight and an easy fit in my pocket. The black surface scuffs in my pocket, which I don't mind, but heads up if you will.

This one is my first so I have nothing to compare it to. In my opinion, it's a very good lighter. Dual torch is definitely a plus. Suck lots of butane, but then again it is a dual torch one. The only con is the flame adjust dial. The way it is positioned on the lighter, it turns down if you are not careful when holding it. Otherwise it great and the price is right. Overall if you take advantage of coupons Thompson has killer process on accessories.

This lighter is well made and has a nice solid feel to it. Single action and lights every time (at least for me it does - other reviewers seem to have had some issues with this). There's nothing fancy about this lighter but it certainly will do the same job the $200 lighters will do, but just won't be quite as pretty doing it.

This lighter makes an excellent gift for any cigar or even (god-forbid) cigarette smoker. They will love the lighter and you will look like you spent a lot more for this lighter than a couple of sawbucks. It also comes in a nice little gift box that makes it look even more expensive for those of you looking to give this lighter as a gift.

Be sure to use high quality butane for your lighters no matter what the make and model. There is no sense in getting a lighter you plan to keep for a long time and then fill it with dime store junk butane and gum up the works only to find yourself buying another lighter in 6 months.

I have a dozen lighters with various price tags. This lighter is one of the best. I've had more expensive lights break, be impossible to light with wet hand after swimming, or that didn't adjust easily. This is a very good lighter.

I have had lots and lots of problems with cigar lighters. With some the mechanism breaks in a few days. With others, I have to refill it after one or two lights. With still others, it is just about impossible to adjust the flame height.
This lighter is the one I have been looking for. It provides reliable, strong dual flame, I rarely need to fill it, and I find it to be attractive and just the right weight. Recommended.
