Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
I have notified CS of my disappointment and will be returning the unsmoked cigars. I found out when I called about the issues described above that perhaps half of these cigars were made "sandwich" style with short filler. That was offered as the reason some were impossible to smoke.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
These cigars taste fabulous. I love the earthy peat moss swampy flavor. I also get a taste out of them occasionally of what I would liken to sanded car bondo particles in the air. The plugged ones are a bit of a hassle, I use a homemade poker or a 12" long 1/8" diameter drill bit as a rheamer. If that doesnt work, I will cut in half and smoke 'em that way. So all in all, flavor = awesome, getting it to draw properly = work.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
i really enjoyed the flavor of these cigars.
unfortunlatly they were rolled so tight that they had to be cut in half to smoke them. i had to run a nail through a couple to loosen them.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
I am an occasional ciger smoker normally, but, I like to have my cigars while working in my shop. That calms me and makes my shop smell great. I have given these La Caya Cigers to friends who rave over the quality and taste. LOVE'UM.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
These are a pain in the butt. WAY to hard to draw right out of the box. Even after two weeks in the humidor I'm cutting them in half just to smoke them. A poker doesn't work but I have used a skewer to pierce the hard tobacco to get it to draw. Even after that you'll have to skewer it again while your smoking it. Flavor is decent when it's able to smoke and that's the only reason it got two stars. Also the picture shows a nice wooden box. It's not, it comes in a cardboard box.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
I BOUGHT THESE TO HAND OUT TO FRIENDS THAT ALWAYS WANT A CIGAR THEN SMOKE LESS THAN A 1/3 AND THROW THE REST AWAY. IT AMAZED ME THAT MOST OF THEM STILL THINK THIS IS A HIGH DOLLAR CIGAR. VERY MILD SMOKE. I SMOKE 1-2 DAILY AND FOR THE MONEY THEY ARE GREAT.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
I was concerned that these would be tight or possibly plugged so I tried one as soon as I got the box. It was great, drew well, etc. Since any negative reviews talked about a tight draw and plugged cigars, I decided to buy a drew poker but have not had to use it yet. A great buy.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
I really enjoy this cigar. The only downside is that some samples have a very difficult draw. On several, I had to take a pipe tool to open a passageway through the body of the cigar to get any draw at all.

Comments about LA CAYA II HABANO CHURCHILL:
This was my 2nd box. In the 1st box about 20% were too plugged to smoke. But at a buck apiece, that's still not bad... they taste pretty good. I've pulled 10 out of this box so far and none are smokable because they're wrapped too tight. It's like trying to suck a golf ball up a straw. It's too bad because I like the taste but the experience is more frustrating than enjoyable.
