In celebration of Rocky Patel's 10th anniversary, the Rocky Patel Edge A-10 Limited Edition Dual Wrapper (maduro and corojo) was released and it is definitely worthy of such an anniversary. Originally planned to be released in 2014, it was delayed, but for good. Sometimes perfection takes longer than we anticipate. Its dual wrapper is "barber-poled" with the original Honduran Corojo and Costa Rican Maduro wrappers that were used in the first versions of the Rocky Patel Edge. This gives you the sweetness you expect from the maduro and the slight spice from the corojo.

I smoke often and am a fan of Patel, especially the Edge. The barber pole combo, interested me. Medium bodied, grass, a hint of cedar, woody. The draw was a bit snug but not bad. Burns consistent throughout. You can see where the flavors try to get to the original Edge, but doesn't quite get there. Good, not great cigar.

cigar definitely has a great burn and draw. Flavor? maybe not so much, but don't let that dissuade you. It is a must try, and you may very well like it very much. Not a favorite, but definitely a fine cigar.

I don't understand why this cigar is rated 5 stars- worst cigar I have ever smoked. Aroma was not what I expected. Flavor was unsatisfactory. Try again.
