I bought these highly rated cigars because they were on sale. I had high expectations. I was impressed with the taste. However, I was quickly disappointed. About one in five were basically unsmokable. Very hard to light and hard to keep lit. I would cut them off and relight. No luck. Ended up tossing it out. Almost as if there was something in there that won’t burn. Also very hard draw on some. The others were very good, but not much of a deal when some of them were unsmokable.

The cigar itself was excellent, but like most of my orders from Thompson Cigar, the cigar and all that came with it were dry as a tumbleweed. I've now learned that any cigar specials you offer mean they are old and dried out. Disappointing, to say the least.
