These specially-formulated beads contain a humidity-balancing solution of propylene glycol, so you're assured of a slow, steady release of moisture and constant humidity of 65-70%. Each refill with water typically lasts 1 to 2 months, and each jar can be refilled over and over for up to a year before replacing.
