Not what I've come to expect from a Padron Anniversario (and I've smoked quite a few). Didn't have that distinctive Padron taste. A mediocre cigar at best. Not anywhere near worth the price paid for the cigars. A very forgettable cigar smoking experience!

Padrón Anniversary 64 cigars are always a consistent, dependable cigar. Everyone burns evenly without need a touch up. They offer good smoke production. Always a pleasurable relaxing time spent with a Padrón.

The Padron Anniversario Exclusiva is a consistently fine smoke, with easy draw and a great flavor. The upper level Padrons are second only to Liga Privada 9 in quality.

I usually allow my Padrons to age 6 to 12 months in humidor for the very best flavor. But out of the box, the 1964 Exclusivo maduro are still excellent cigars.

The Padron 1964 Aniversario Exclusivo Maduro Robusto is my everyday cigar. One cigar in the evening after the day's work is done with an adult beverage (bourbon, neat). I will go without if I don't have a Padron to smoke. Yes, they are a little pricey but life is short so why settle for someone less (and goodness knows I've tried)? My only complaint would be that on rare occasions suppliers will run out of stock, then the frantic search is on to find them. lol

Best feature of this cigar is the flavor and the Exclusivo provides the ideal ring and length for me with a smoke lasting close to one hour. My only negative is the cigar needs to structurally improved at the draw end.

I have a 5 pack as one of my club purchases and every stick is consistent. Perfect burn, draw, and smoke everytime. I have another premium club that is random premium cigars and my pals skip those and go for the Padron's as they are the best. After smoking these all others seem a little inferior. Expensive but you get what you pay for, perfection.

I can only regret the years I spent smoking everything else. And more deeply regret any positive review I've given to previous - non Padron - cigars. Perhaps it was guilt over spending "too much" on cigars that kept me smoking brands other than Padron. I finally made the leap to Padron and now can't imagine smoking anything else. This particular stick is so thoroughly satisfying that I want to immediately pull another out of the box and relive the experience. I entered through the Padron 2000 series and was shocked at how good they were... The 1964 Anniversary Exclusive is full level above, and worth every penny. At about $11 per stick (after a bit of a discount) they are more satisfying than the same amount spent on food or alcohol, and dare I say better for me. Luckily I bought box and can order another whenever I need to. This cigar is handsome in it's rough, dark maduro wrapper. Lights perfectly, the draw is open and easy. It smoked from the foot past the band to the nub without a thought. The easy flavor coats the palate smoothly and unconsciously. With cigars other than Padron I had to think about how they burned, touch them up, etc. This burned so uneventfully as to defy thought. The cigar's character maintains interest without imposition throughout. It is never overpowering nor boring. It is the most effortless and enjoyable experience I've ever had with a cigar. I have found a very simple way to judge a cigar. Did I finish it completely? If I did then the band goes in a chalice on the shelf. If I didn't finish the cigar then the band is discarded. Construction issues, flavor issues, overloaded palate, boredom... there are many reasons not to finish a cigar. The chalice is quickly filling with Padron bands... I searched and found no others. I have a feeling these bands will fill a suitcase.

Huge fan of this cigar. It is not a heavy maduro and has a nice easy draw! Very smooth with a strong cocoa flavor with leather. Though this is smaller than some cigars, I think it is really all you need. I don't get/make the time to smoke cigars like I used to so when I do $12 a stick is a bargin.

Padron has makes some of the best cigars in the world and this one is a value leader for the brand. As good or better than the Cuban robustos. I have Cuban cohibas and Partagas in my humidor and this is as good or better than both for half the price. Well done Pardon.

This is one outstanding cigar! Perfectly constructed with a beautiful dark oily wrapper. I have smoked many of these and have found them to burn perfectly every time. Starting off mild, with toasty, spiced notes then gaining complexity throughout the cigar. It remains interesting and complex right up until the end.

I received this as a gift and was excited to try a 1964 I've had 1926s before but this thing is another breed of good. Everything you would want in a great cigar easy to light, the draw was perfect, not too heavy not too light, burn was razor sharp and the flavors were AMAZING, changing with every draw. As with all Padrons I've had the burn time was long and never got hot on the draw. If your looking for a great cigar not a good cigar a GREAT cigar it's right here.

My favorite cigar hands down. This used to be more of a special occasion cigar but now I smoke these about 50% of the time. After growing tired of the HORRIBLE inconsistencies of the Flor de las Antillas I switched over to smoking more of these. You will simply not find a cigar that's more consistent with lighting, burning. construction and flavor. Every single cigar is exactly the same. It is a pricey cigar, but I have no problem paying it for this kind of quality and consistency. Whatever you're doing Padron- - DONT STOP!

It is hard to beat a Padron 1964 Anniversary series cigar. I put it down as special occasion because sadly I can't afford to smoke it every day. If your budget is more generous than mine than it would be a wonderful everyday cigar.

What a fantastic cigar. A short time ago, I made a substantial purchase of the entire Padron line, five and 4 packs from Family Reserve to 1964 Anniv. After sampling for three weeks I packed my 3 finger at hit the golf course at 7:00 am and could not wait to fire this cigar up and when I did, draw and taste took my mind off golf. The outstanding flavor was the same all the way to the end. Great construction, with perfect maduro wrapper. I haven't hit the Family Reserve line yet however, Iam at a pause while I go buy a box of these little guys tomorrow.

I was blown away on how smooth the cigar was. I am a new smoker and this was my first of many to come. I am very impressed by the flavor, the smoothness and how well it drew. I am hooked this I would say is one for special occasions. Its great with cognac with a splash of water or a chocolate martini would suffice. Its deep rich and bold flavor with no harsh affects just screams quality. I cant wait to receive my order to age them well to find out how much better they can get.

This is a great smoke that only suffers in comparison to the patriarch of the Padron line, the Family Reserve. A friend introduced me to the Padron line by giving me a Family Reserve. The 1964 Anniversary is a "poor man's" Family Reserve. So, if, like me, you can't afford to smoke Padron Family Reserves every day, the '64 Anniversary is a great cigar to smoke instead.

A birthday gift for him...and I get to share! We opened the box (simple, yet elegant) and remove one of these beauties; rich, dark color with a sheen to it. He guides me through the pre-light ritual (admire/inspect; moisten wrapper a bit and taste) and the flavor on my lips and tongue is leather and bitter chocolate. I make the proper cut and hand off to him to light (I just love watching this man toast and light and take those first puffs!). We head out to the deck to settle in and enjoy this cigar, each other, a gorgeous early October evening and a couple of Jameson's. Once lit this cigar was rich tobacco and coffee and a hint of cocoa bean that gave way to nutty, each puff slightly different from the previous (complexity?). We pass it back and forth (sharing, people, sharing!), the cigar softly glowing in the dark and a candle flickers. The finish is creamy, smooth, the cigar stays cool to the touch. I see the ash growing longer and then, sadly, it's done. But one of the best cigar episodes we've had. Looking forward to more great moments as we go through the rest of the box.

I stopped ordering due to very dry damaged cigars. I know it happens but at 296.00 a box. I trashed 2 boxes. I even canceled future orders and gave up about 135.00 in vouchers. I also don't understand why I pay for shipping, when ever email I get says free shipping. I am done. Unfortunately for me and you. I order a lot and give about 22 cigars away each order. When my friends , who were getting them as gifts started saying they weren't very good and the wrappers were screwing up the draw, I stopped. In the past with problems like sending the wrong cigars twice and I had to go to ups to return delivery...the problems were resolved...with zero compensation. Luckily there is a cigar shop in n.j. Who will give the cigars(which I love) at 269 a box and no shipping. How does a small shop do that and you do not???

From the very beginning, the ease of draw is perfect. Plenty of warm, earthy, nutty and mild fruity tones with ample smoke on each draw. It really gets going after the first inch as the flavors increase and come together with a perfect ash. Half way through it is virtual perfection with a Cuban edge adding to the palate. This is the smoke I have when it's time to re-boot, put worries behind you and truly enjoy a fantastic smoke. I have a nice stock of 45 year 1964 Family Reserves as well, but I actually think the Padron Family out did themselves with the '64 Aniversario Maduro.

This is currently, and has been my personal favorite for the past 2 years. I've smoked plenty of top brand medium-full bodied cigars, but have not found one to match the overall quality of this one yet. Very flavorful, aromatic, nothing bad to say at all. Grab some, and keep some in your humidor...you will not regret.

Padron is something special. These cigars are amazingly tasty, smooth and flavorful. Upon lighting the draw is smooth, the smoke rich , and Padrons burn perfectly with no need for ever touching up. They are not as complex or full flavored in my opinion compared to the 1926 series but more medium to full. Also the finish seems less peppery as the '26 but it's chocolate, nutty, undertones put it in its own class. Does Padron make a stick that isn't amazing? I have yet to find it.
