I've been smoking at least one VSOP Double Corona each night for the last three years; it is a highly affordable every-day cigar comparable in construction and body to, say, the La Gloria Cubana natural-wrapper Churchill. The best thing about the VSOP's (aside from the great price!) is the high level of consistency in construction, and the very pleasant flavor, smooth and delicious right down to the nub. Too often, it seems, expensive high-end cigars have a rather timid flavor, as if they're afraid to insult anybody. Definitely not the case here! Recently I was lucky enough to come by a box of Montecristo White Churchills, and a little better than a box-worth of TTT Trinidad Churchills. While it would not be honest to put the VSOPs in that rarefied class, it didn't feel like I was going from steak to hotdogs--not at all! I can say that I was not disappointed on returning to the cheaper cigar; the VSOPs certainly held their own in terms of flavor. If that's not a glowing recommendation, I don't know what is!

A good looking cigar,well made. Exceptional value. Pause to take in the aroma before lighting & then be delighted at the full but smooth flavor! I especially enjoy it while working outside in the yard or washing the car with a fine red ale from the local micro-brewry. The V.S.O.P.(Very Smooth On Palate) makes an impressive gift to anyone.

Got these because they were 7.5 inches long and I figured they'd last for the duration of a decent conversation. They are a perfect everyday smoke, with the only draw back being if you are short on time. I've hard a hard time enjoying anything else since I found these.
