I give up, I've tried for 6 months to get this thing to seal and operate properly, it's not happening. Seasoned, re-seasoned, adjusted and tinkered, this thing will not settle in. I'm going electronic from here.

does not hold humidity filed the box with water an let it sit for 1hr still only holds 40% mosture(after a week of sponging the box with water every day) the stickeys fall of the back of the hygrometer and the mostier block gana use it to hold a hand gun at least i know there wont be moisture in it laugh my @ $$ off

This is my first humidor purchase and I'm very happy with it. In my opinion how could you go wrong for the price! It has a beautiful wood grain and the lid has quality hinges. It also has a velvet like material on the bottom to keep it from scratching other furniture. Way exceeded my expectations. I've only had about 35 cigars in at once and like some others have said, I don't see it fitting 50, but it all depends on what size cigars you smoke. Holds a perfect 70% humidity which I didn't expect from a thirty dollar humidor.

For the price this is a great little humidor. The hygrometer is a bit small but that just means it takes up less room.I gave it the salt test and after 10 hours in the bag it read out 75% so did not need to adjust it. It does come with a small adjustment tool and velcro to mount it should you choose to do so.There is a small humidifier (green foam) with velcro as well. My box holds humidity at 69-70%. The box is 11 inches side to side, 81/2 inches front to back, and 31/2 inches top to bottom measured from the outside. As we all know cigars come in all sizes so the smaller the cigar the more will fit in this humidor. Yes this humidor will hold 50 cigars if they are all panetela size, if all your cigars are churchill size you will get 22 in this box. So you will get roughly 20-50 sticks in this box depending on size. This is true for all humidors, they advertise the most you can fit depending on size. All in all, great box for the price.

Great product for beginners.

Will not hold 50 cigars the overall appearance and construction seemed pretty cheap I've been satisfied with everything from Thompson cigars up till now should have known the to good to be true rule should have been applied to this humidor

The humidor looks great and appears to be very well constructed for the price. It had a nice tight seal upon arrival and the seal got even better and tighter after conditioning the humidor. The hygrometer and humidifier are poor quality however which, I was kind of expecting given the very low price. I did a salt test on the hygrometer and it was reading around 60% after 12 hours. It does not appear that you are able to calibrate this hygrometer. I will most likely spend the money for a digital hygrometer and possibly also a new humidifier.

Great idea. But craftmanship not that good. It don't hold 50 Cigars as stated I'm product overview disappointed about that because I attempted to put 50 and couldn't. But overall not bad at all.

I wish it had some type of knobs to help to open it, because with the proper seasoning it will hold humidity well which makes it a little cranky to open. I put my own knobs on it, i.e. small draw pulls.

First off the humidor looks good and feels good. That's about where the good ends. I tried seasoning it but can't get it to hold humidity

it holds 25 to 30 cigars....maybe 50 small ones...good construction, not a bad seal at all for the price...i may buy another....good good deal. hinges were fine, finish is fine...but not a 50 cigar box.

Nice product

This humidor gets the job done at an awesome price, however, it DOES NOT HOLD 50 cigars as it claims to. When the humidifier and hygrometer are installed, it will only realistically hold about 40 cigars. I managed to fit 42 7x50 Toros into it comfortably. Don't expect to fit all 50 cigars in with the humidifier and the hygrometer.

Decent box

I purchased this 50 count humidor as a "step down" for my desk from my other large humidors. At only $29.99, I guess it will have to do. I like the way it looks on my desk. The left front side is not sealed and there several visible gaps. It has some real issues sealing and holding humidity! This problem I solved with two small humidifiers, for the time being. I will say this, for the price I really did not expect too much. Will keep it and fix the sealing problem, as I have "back ups". I would recommend to the "first timers" to check it real close, could be a real issue with cigars laying out waiting for another humidor!

This is my first humidor and I find it is well built. It seals well and is holding pretty much constant 70% humidity. The only issue I had was the Velcro on the humidifier wouldn't release and tore the glue backing off. Fixed it by gluing a magnet to the back and a washer to the lid. I inserted my weather station hygrometer to read the humidity remotely and to check the supplied hygrometer. The supplied one is reading dead on with the weather station one.

Humidor looks great and, unlike a previous reviewer, the hinges on mine are just fine. In fact, they are great! I'm using this small humidor to store my infused cigars separately from all my other sticks inside my large humidor.

Poor deal. Hygrometer fell apart. Adhesive to attschygrometer and humidifier pulls off once attached. Overall. A $10 box poorly made in China.

The woodwork on this humidor is nice. However, the hinges for the top were poorly drilled into the box and the holes were stripped so the box wont close and seal all of the way.
