This cigar is a wonderful smoke. I have had some Victor Sinclairs in the past, and this one is far and away the best. The "Grande" part of the name is no lie. It is a nice fat stick that offers full flavor, and for my pace of smoking offers for well over an hour and half. I lean toward looser draws, but the slightly tight draw still works well for me. This medium intensity cigar has a nice start based on pepper and earthiness. After the first third, I am thinking the pepper recedes and a bit of sweetness takes over. But the taste is fairly steady throughout all the way to the end.

Usually as a "chewing" cigar, occasionally smoking. Taste is mild and consistent.

Excellent smoke. The large gauge is a nice touch and gives you a nice draw. The flavor was on par with a Montecristo in my opinion. Had two of these in a VS sampler and both were spectacular. Nice enough you can hand it out and not feel bad about it. Price is right and the quality is nice.

I first experienced this smoke in the Cigar Tour Club and was mesmerized by the aroma swirling around me. Turned out to be of surprising quality, even-burning and well-balanced flavor with interesting changes as it progressed. A flavorful blend, yet gentle on the palate. This is an exceptional everyday smoke at a terrific bargain price. I smoke them down to a nub every time. Get some!

The Victor Sinclair 55 Series White Label Connecticut Toro Grande Whiskey arrived in a very nice cedar shrink-wrapped tray, with each cigar individually stored in a plastic tube. The Toro Grande is a rather large ringed cigar at 60 gauge...just the way I like it.The cigar cut well, lit well and burned very well. The aroma was exceptionally mild and soft on the palate. There was just a fleeting glimpse of vanilla and the smooth sweetness of the Connecticut wrapper. I was disappointed in the decidely absent whiskey flavor. I was a good 20 minutes into the cigar before I even remembered there was supposed to be a whiskey flavor. So I did what any respectable connoisseur would and poured my self some Jack Daniel's Single Barrel. The cigar went superbly with my Jack and I finished both another 40 minutes later. With such a large gauge, this cigar smokes forever which makes for a nice relaxing hour or so. The box of 10 only cost [$] which helped easy my mild disappointment in this cigar. I was hoping the tabacco blend of Cameroon, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Brazil would have been a hair more aromatic and flavorful, not to mention the missing whiskey flavor, but it was a great smoke for the price.
