I smoked these back in the boom years. I just reopened my account here and bought a 5 pack with my first order. Yuck. 2 of 5 were plugged. The flavor was lacking.

I have been smoking cigars for over 20 years and this has to be the worst bundle of cigars I have ever gotten. I have had 1 out of about 6 so far that was okay and still couldn't smoke it all. The burn is uneven flavor is hit and miss. Do not recommend.

I tried a 5 pack of these and got a good result for the price. My normal "daily smoke" is the Fumas 1990s. they are back-ordered to I ordered a full package of these and the first two were un-smokable. I could not keep them lit, even pulling on them every minute. This is the first time I have had to return a product to Thompson

I smoke once in a while. Very infrequently. Maybe 2x a month for a year, then take a year off. That being said this was a good smoke. Lit well, drew well and good burn. Flavor was mild but not too mild. Its not a $5 cigar but for about a buck I enjoyed it.

I bought these because they were an outlet special, and boy was I glad I did. They are solidly constructed with a good firm feel. The have a firm ash that stands up to being moved around so you end up with ash in the tray instead of your lap or shirt. The flavor is decent and they stay lit well.

I smoke a lot of cigars each day and catagorize them into 4 categories by taste and quality. This is a good little cigar. When arrived were in need of some time transitioning to a good humidity, couple days in humidor solved this. The flavor is good but I found myself missing a little more spice. They burn very even after a good start. I personally like my cigar to go out after I stop puffing for a minute, but this one will keep on burning till the moist mouth pocket.

I lit the first one right out of the bundle as they looked very inviting. There was an indeterminate taste - very bad. I thought it might be well to let them simmer in a humidor for a while. I placed them away from my other cigars. Tried again later and very clearly tasted pungent ammonia and moldy flavor. I returned them to Thompson after taking one apart and determining that the smell and taste was eminating from the filler.

Priced in the lower level, that is what I ordered, however, one will smoke fine, the next draws so hard my eyes cross, have even cut them in 1/2 and made 2 out of one, to get them to draw. Tried a draw poker on one, did not help much either, they are wrapped quite tight, rolling them will reveal a tight spot about mid cigar, a tight roll will sometimes open them up.

Worst cigar ever paid for. Some had weight to them, others were light as a feather, green spots, leaves all broken and unwrapping, and then the smoking was even worse. Absolutely horrendous, I had to give these out at a fundraiser and then hear about how horrible they were. Thompsons should be ashamed to put there name on this. 200 cigars wasted....

I only smoke on the golf course and have been pleased with this product thus far. It has proven to be a good value for the price which was paid. The only draw back is it is a shorter length cigar and is only good for 4 holes of golf. It is somewhat thicker than what I have been use to in the past but one has to adapt.

I smoke these cigars on a daily basis 4 or 5 a day. They are a very smooth smoke. You might get 1 or 2 sticks that are a little hard to draw, but the price and quality are hard to beat.
