After fleeing Cuba during the revolution, the Sosa family ended up in the Dominican Republic where they continued their cigar business and started anew with Sosa Cigars. This 50th Anniversary cigar celebrates the year when they started fresh. The Sosa 50th Anniversary Toro Connecticut (6" x 50) is handmade in the Dominican Republic using top-shelf Dominican long fillers and binders which are delicately rolled into a creamy Connecticut wrapper. The result is a stellar smooth bodied blend.

Great smoke, awesome flavor, great draw. Every year I travel to Orlando and stop at Sosa Cigars and have to load up on these ones. Now I know that I can get them when I want. Thank you Thompson Cigars!!! I dont have to wait a year when I run out!

This cigar was easy to light, has a good draw, burns good, has a very good flavor to it, i'd call it mild to med, and it is one of those that you would not mind having everyday. Light one up, and enjoy it!!

The wrapper started peeling off immediately after lighting it. Burned very unevenly with canoeing being the biggest issue. Descent flavor and aroma. But the other issues made it almost un-smokable.

This was a pleasant smoke, though nothing really stands out about it. Decently put together and a nice flavor. A bit firm on the draw, but not a problem. Experienced an even burn throughout. This would not be my go-to cigar, but I would not shun it if it were offered, or if it went on sale.

Slight construction issue (see pic) and a slightly firm draw, however this improved as the cigar burned. Both issues were minor and could have been the attributes of the individual cigar. Good flavor and a pleasant aroma. Would recommend for everyday smoke.

This Cigar has great construction, good wrapper, and burns great. Some will love it but it's not to my liking. Burns really great and has a very good taste for those who prefer a stronger taste in a Cigar.

The only issue was the wrapper had a flaw it it, but it could of been from misshandling it. Otherwise a decent cigar for any occasion.
