This extra-dark double Maduro, made with a rich, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, especially hand-selected for its full flavor, produces a delightful chocolaty taste. That's because the wrapper is aged for four full years before it's hand-rolled over the smooth Connecticut Shade tobacco binder, also aged for four years. At the heart of the Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote Rothschild (4 1/2" x 50) cigar is a premium blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican long filler tobaccos that always delivers the rich, full taste for which Sancho Panza is renowned.

I think this is a good all-around smoke for a short visit with a buddy or quick grilling on a cooler evening. Easy draw and a medium to bold flavor at a very fair price.

Good morning, I’d like to start by saying I never received my package (cigars). The package was sent to an old address even after I updated the system with my new address. I called and spoke to customer service and was told there was nothing she could do. I followed up with an email and received a response saying the package was delivered to the old address. I responded telling them what had occurred and ask Thompson Cigar to make this right. I haven’t received any more responses. As a Thompson cigar customer, I am very disappointed, it seems Thompson cigar has forgotten what customer service is. I probably won’t ever receive my cigars or a refund. As I read more reviews on Thompson Cigar poor customer service seems to be a growing trend spiraling out of control. I will not be making any more purchases with your company until this problem is resolved, which I doubt will ever happen. But, I will remain hopeful, Good Luck to you and your company and I hope you all get it together one day.

Nice smaller, i.e., quicker, smoke with big flavor. Box pressed so good draw, but looks smaller than 50; more like 47-48, but it's perfect sized for me. It's kinda like a 4.5" version of the El Rey del Mundo Maduro Rectangulares, but shorter and a little fatter. I'll buy again for sure.

I smoke one cigar a day. This one. I'd smoke more if I could afford it, even though these are a great value. I like that it can be smoked in about 30 minutes. I've smoked other larger cigars but I run out of steam before I finish them. This cigar is, I think, considered strong, which I like. The flavor or taste is reminiscent of espresso. Oh - despite the low price these are packaged in a well made wooden cigar box which is nice. Each cigar is in its own plastic wrapper. I remove the wrappers and place the cigars back in the box they came in with a cheap humidifying packet. Works great.

I liken this cigar to the Punch Rothschild Double Maduro. They are nearly the same price and of course the same size -- fairly small and I smoke it in about thirty minutes. This Sancho Panza is just a bit milder with a powdery nut like taste. The Punch is a bit stronger with an espresso flavor. I buy both and alternate. These are the only two cigars I smoke, and I will continue buying them. Oh - these Sancho Panzas are rarely in cigar shops so buy them here from Thompson.
