Not what I expect from Rocky Patel

I've mostly stayed with "what I know I like" regarding Rocky's but he has a wide selection so many I have not been able to try. Buying this choice selection was the best way for me to finally try a wider variety of some of his others. Cheaper than buying of five stick of each. Highly recommend if you're thinking is similar to mine.

The cigars arrive quickly and ready to smoke. Somehow they arrive at the right humidity and undamaged. I have never received a dry or broken cigar so I appreciate the care and attention to detail they give. I work hard for my money and enjoy a good cigar and it is very nice to have a company that I trust will recommend to my friends and family. I appreciate people who take pride in their work. They will get a loyal customer in me.

A friend introduced me to Rocky Patel cigars last year, and I was an immediate fan! I am an infrequent smoker who generally only enjoys cigars with good friends (many of whom are Aficionados) at special events. I had been looking for cigars that I could confidently share ... Rocky Patel's line was my answer. All the cigars in the sampler were wonderful!

Thought this would be a good everyday smoke, Rocky makes good cigars. First cigar was bad... maybe I got a bad one. Following day I went back again, had to cut through a large tough stem and the taste was worse than the first, could not finish it.

I am an occasional smoker, 1-2 cigars weekly. This was a good value pack and I enjoyed most of the cigars in it. There were a couple I did not care for.

i was happy until i got ahold of two bad rolled or somthing, there was a stick like thing going though it.

Excellent quality and freshness

It came with different styles and sizes. Very smooth and we enjoy it a lot.

Easy to light, slow burn, and we'll constructed.

I smoke one cigar per golf round. Good cigars make for a better round.

I always enjoy Rocky Patels and this sampler increased my enjoyment.

While the flavor was great on all these cigars, the burn issues were really annoying. The binder and wrapper never kept up, and the draw was very loose. The pinch test made me think twice about smoking them, but I really liked the aroma and the flavor on the initial draws. Construction issues are the worst because they don't just diminish the pleasure of smoking a cigar, they actually make it frustrating. I should have sent these back. Also, this is uncharacteristic of Rocky, in my experience. Getting his products at B&Ms, they've always been fantastic - complete with really great construction. Not sure what happened here...
