Outstanding. Longest ash I've ever had. Only ashed twice. No need to touch it up, it burned perfectly. Tons of flavors throughout the burn. Not overpowering. I really liked this smoke and smoked it til my fingertips burned.

I have purchased a number of these cigars in singles and five packs from Thompson through their auction site where I get a much better price than indicated here. When received, the fresh cigars should be placed in a Thompson humidor for a minimum of three months before smoking, or else you will be disappointed by a smoke that tastes of pepper, only. Once aged, the PDR Short Run Habano presents beautifully with a lighter brown wrapper. Unlit aromas consist of medium pepper and tobacco. The cigar always sports one of the best caps I have seen on a cigar. The cut is accomplished easily, without peeling. The light is uniformly accomplished with good smoke production throughout the experience and a razor straight burn. The ash is a tight dark grey without flaking. The medium tobacco and pepper tastes increase to a pleasant medium/full early on and though the balance of the cigar. No other background tastes are noted throughout the smoke. The PDR Short Run Habano is a nice tasting cigar in the Habano tradition but without supporting background tastes. A good deal around three dollars per stick, or less, auction is usually the best place to look. Otherwise, shop around. Enjoy.

This cigar had no weak spots; it was solid in every way. It's not a top cigar, but it's very good.
