There is a reason the Oliva Serie V Melanio was rated the best cigar in world in 2014 and in opinion still is. The cigar has a consistent draw and is smooth throughout The cigar has notes of cocoa and coffee with a very slight peppery finish. The aroma of the cigar is smooth and just plain nice. Very pleased with this cigar and in my opinion is better than a Padron 1926 maduro. It’s pricey but it’s what I want when I want a cigar.

A perfect smoke.

I ordered a box of cigars with expedited service. The order was "lost" according to Customer Service so they stated they would remove the expedited shipping fee and overnight the order at no expense to me due to the inconvenience. The order still had a $9 shipping charge left for the original order. The "overnighted" order was not received until two business days later with an even greater shipping charge. I sent a notification to Customer Service five days ago and am still waiting for them to respond by crediting my account for removal of the extra shipping charges.....

These are amazing! The only reason I’m not giving them 5 starts is because when they came they where dry and hard and I had to re hydrate them before I could smoke them.

I love cigars. Oliva is a great stick.

We were going to Phoenix to play golf for five days, and I wanted to bring a quality cigar to share with the guys after the round. The Oliva V series was a hit with all the guys. Some celebrated victory others defeat, but they all agreed that the cigar won out and was our favorite.

This is my new favorite cigar! I already loved the Oliva brand but folks, this is a clear heavy hitter that packs a punch! Great chocolate and creamy vanilla flavors with hints of black pepper. The draw was firm on the torpedos, so I do recommend them in Churchill or Robusto sizes. That being said, I still wouldn't pass up one of these in a torpedo size because they're that freakin' delicious!!! BTW, Thompson Cigars are my go-to shop for anything cigars, you cannot beat these guys.

Enjoy smoking this cigar anytime, but tend to save it for perfect moments.

Wonderful cigars. Are quickly becoming my favorite. A bit on the higher priced side, but you can get some deals if you wait around. The smoke is such an excellent experience. Can make the day better.

All the Melanio's have been a home run. Like the VSG, they are expensive so reserve for special occasions.
