I have been an occasional smoker of Montesino cigars over the past 25 years, and have found them to be always attractively packaged, and extremely consistent in construction, with nice, even draw and smooth wrapper with a velvet-like mouth feel. It's a good, enjoyable, cool smoking, and medium bodied cigar with no objectionable traits, but lacks in distinguishable flavors, and has no finish (for those who object to aftertaste, take note!). It's a good cigar to have on hand to enjoy with non-smoking novices, and its bland mildness will not conflict with or destroy a drink, but it won't compliment them, either.

It has been nearly 20 years since I had a Montesino. They are as good as I remember. Remember, Montesino is Fuente made, and for a few bucks less! I passed these out when my kids were born 20 some years ago. Still great!
