Both the Macanudo Especial and Montecristo Platinum were very good cigars. They both lasted well over an hour being punched and had very little "pepper" taste to them. I would buy the cigars again any day. The ashtray is a nice size and has come in handy with guests over. This ashtray is light and easy to share between smokers.

These are good smooth cigars and the ashtray is well made

This was a deal that was too good to pass up. To start, I would have given this 5 stars easily except for some construction issues on a couple of the sticks. However, both cigars are fantastic blends. I truly wasn't expecting much, but within the first few puffs on the Montecristo, I knew I had found a fantastic deal. I absolutely loved this cigar. It had some deep earthiness to it to start, but I also experienced notes of cocoa and smooth nuttiness & woodiness throughout. Fantastic cigar! The Macanudo, in my opinion, is not quite as good as the Montecristo, but still a great cigar nonetheless. It wasn't quite as smooth as the Montecristo, but still had great flavor throughout. As mentioned earlier, my only issue had to do with construction (wrapper came completely unraveled on one of the Macanudos) and very "wonky" burn on a couple of the Montecristos....but still, overall a fantastic deal, especially when you toss in a nice ashtray. Whether you get this deal or just happen to see a deal on either of these cigars, I wouldn't hesitate to order them!

Great all around cigars to complement the Paradise atomosphere

Macanudos have always been my favorite and I've never had a bad Rocky Patel so thought I would give this comparison a try. I was very pleased. Now I have two favorites.

The cigars are great but the ashtray is definitely a cheap plastic giveaway.

Nice sampler package, I will be purchasing another one.
