Kristoff has become my go-to brand. I love everyone that I've smoked. This one is excellent as well.

This is a great stick delivered to me by Thompson. The only complaint is that it arrived a little dry and hard.

This is a mild-flavored maduro with unexpected and wonderful flavor notes. It has a bit of strength that served to heighten the senses without overwhelming. After smoking one of these from a Thompson Cigar Tour sampler, I immediately ordered a box of 20. I began by twisting off the pig's tail from the cap, rather than cutting it. Lighting the cigar--first by toasting, then while puffing--produced an initial taste of burnt gunpowder with a delicate note of honeysuckle nectar. I enjoy the smell of fireworks, so the gunpowder note was a welcome surprise. It was a little hard to get an even light, but not problematically so. A faint taste of honeysuckle continued throughout the length of the cigar. A little while after the cigar was lit, the flavor dropped out almost entirely, leaving only a very light taste of honeysuckle nectar. It then transitioned into butterscotch and took on a coffee note for the second 1/3rd of the cigar's length. In the final 1/3rd, the butterscotch and coffee transitioned into hardwood briquette smoke combined with the taste of a well-marinaded and grilled steak. Each long draw had a short-to-medium length finish. The aftertaste, when the cigar was finished, was was mild and faded quickly. I enjoyed this cigar on a hot summer night, with a few sips of dry brandy that paired well with its natural sweetness. Currently, this is my favorite cigar.
