The H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Belicoso (6 1/8" x 52) harkens back to the early days of H. Upmann when all cigars from this legendary brand were wrapped with Cameroon leaves. H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon boasts an exquisite wrapper that lends a complex aroma paired with a filler blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian tobaccos. This incredible cigar is slightly sweet and very flavorful.

I alternate this cigar with several others in my humidor. It is smooth, mild, long lasting and even burning. I have purchased this product before and will again.

The cigar looks very nice and is constructed well. The flavor is not my favorite, but I am not a seasoned cigar smoker compared to a lot of people. Still, enjoyed the cigar. Good for a nice fall afternoon along with a bourbon.

One of my first comp'd cigars in Vegas. . . . back when they comp'd cigars--go figure . . . LOL! The Upmann Vintage Cameroon is in my wheelhouse for flavor--yes, just enough flavor notes to keep things interesting--with a smooth finish. While I'll love trying different sticks that run the gamut of Smooth/Medium/Strong (for guests and personal consumption) this one I always maintain a stock of 3-5.

For a company like H. Upmann you would expect a great smoke. These cigars are wrapped so tightly that you can't light them and getting a mouthful of smoke is impossible regardless of how many draws you take. Tried cutting them in half but still way, way to tight.

I have smoked H. Upman cigars for over 30 years. I have smoked most styles and varieties and have always been pleased with the quality and smoke ability of this manufacturer's products. I recently ordered a box of H. Upman Vintage Cameroon Belicoso cigars rated 92 to take on an extended camping trip. After arriving at camp, I eagerly opened the box of Belicoso cigars and lit my first one. My immediate reaction was "Oh No", the cigar was so tightly wrapped that I could not draw through it. After repeatedly "warming" my cigar with a cedar strip and trying to light the cigar I had to give up with frustration. I struggled for over 20 minutes, relighting and strenuously drawing on the cigar until I finally threw it away. I thought that a brand cigar with a 92 rating should certainly be smokeable so I unwrapped the second cigar and the same issues were present. Tightly wrapped so you could not draw and could not keep the cigar lit. Taste was subpar as forcefully drawing and multiple attempts at relighting produce an acrid and bitter taste. I threw this cigar and the next six cigars out after smoking less than half of each stick. The ninth cigar was what I was expecting. A beautiful draw, mild but tasty cigar. I was able to enjoy this cigar to the nub. The next two cigars were as tightly wrapped and unsmokeable as the first seven were. The next cigar I opened and prepared had a light draw. I was very excited that I would be able to smoke this one to the nub, but no, it burned uneven and before I got half way through it became spongy, and the outer wrapper cracked and unrolled. This box of cigars came to me with a small humidity pack and was opened for less than 48 hours. I was 65 miles from the nearest town, so getting replacement cigars was not practical. I tried several more cigars throughout the week and none of them smoked like a premium cigar. This will be the last box of H. Upman vintage Cameroon Belicoso cigars that I purchase.

Great cigar. The only complaint I had was the uneven burn. Good even light would result in accelerated vein burn. Good flavor for a good time.

This is a great light to medium smoke. Smooth easy draw great taste. Can't go wrong. I can't understand how Upmann continues to make great smokes but the new guys cost more, get the great news, make 20 new entrees a week, and Upmann doesn't make the news.
