My order said it would arrive in 3-7 days. It took over 21 days and I called customer service on 3 occassions and was told they got it going...but did not. The service reps were all foreigners who seemed to follow an obnoxious script and did not have any references to my previous phone calls, nor concur with anything I said or have any notes corroborating. I have been with Thompson for over 20-30 years and recommended it to so many people. I am not sure I can do this any longer as I am re-thinking my next $200+ purchase.

I've always been a menthol smoker (except for those 25 years I quit!), and these have the right balance between menthol and tobacco. I will say though, I no longer taste any clove in these. Numb taste buds?? Also, I find it difficult to keep these lit. Unless I'm continually drawing on them, they go out. Too much fire retardant (?) in them? I don't know. When there is a promo that can actually be used for these, I try to stock up as those discounts for Djarum are rare.

These have replaced my old menthol 100 cigarettes as my regular go-to smoke. Much better flavor with the addition of kretek-style spices (I definitely taste/hear the clove). I find the Djarum Emerald have too much of a synthetic menthol flavor. The Sapphires are just right. Since they burn slower I smoke fewer per day than I did my old menthol cigs.

Smoke them throughout the day. Good menthol flavor. Can't say I taste any clove flavor though. The only drawback is having to frequently relight them. My only gripe with the Djarum brand...they never seem to be on the receiving end of any discounts! ,

I smoke these everyday, after quitting cigarettes. I smoke 4-6 of these a day compared to 1 1/2 packs of cigarettes. Love the flavor and the fact, that if I don't want to smoke the whole thing at one time, I can put it out and relight it and it still tastes good, unlike with cigaretttes.

Cloves are great and this flavor a nice variety. Only problem is they don't stay lit well and ashes are messy.

Bought these for my girlfriend, but I like them too. Says they taste like Christmas with the menthol added to the spices. I would have to agree. Like all cloves, these crackle and ashes tend to fly everywhere. They also don't stay lit very well. The price here is much better than local stores.

Quit smoking cigarettes (Kools) 27 years ago. Heard/read about Djarum Black clove cigars, was intrigued, and tried them. Hooked on the flavor and began smoking again. D. B's are more potent than cigarettes and ended up opting for menthols again. I smoke 12-15 of these a day as opposed to 20-30 of my old choice of Kools. Very happy with my choice of Djarum Black Ultra Menthols.
