Beautiful wrapper, perfect construction, A+ smoke from start to finish. I would definitely buy 5 or 10 packs of these for my humidor. (I don't like buying boxes because I like variety). The F55 is amazing, especially the Churchill size so I can smoke it longer, and the box pressed shape reminded me of the Padron 1964. The F55 has a consistent flavor that's full and gentle at the same time. It's delicate flavor profile is a great nightcap or a special occasion smoke. Wish I bought more.

These are excellent smokes for both the beginner, and seasoned pro. Earthy coffee and cocoa flavor, very little pepper bite.. just nice, smooth flavors with a cool, straight burn. #sweepstakes

Unfortunately I'm a rankings guy and I bought thompsoncigar 93 or better sampler and I was excited to smoke this cigar, based on its high ranking. After smoking, my mouth tasted what I imagine waking up in the morning after realizing five people used my mouth as an ashtray the night before. One might as well smoke 20 generic stale cigarettes! I read a few comments and one or two said is was now their "favorite ", HOW? Oh well, glad I only have one more.

Starting out, this just looks and feels like a high quality cigar. It's a firm box press similar to Rocky Patel's anniversary series. It smokes well, draws well; the flavor is mild yet sophisticated. These have become my new favorite cigar. I've had a couple that burned unevenly, but that's usually indicative of how they were stored.

I decided to get technical with this cigar. As soon as I picked it up I knew it was special. It was dense, very tightly wrapped. I took the F55 and my phone, with a timer and began my test. First, I used a guillotine cutter, not a punch. When properly cut, the draw was perfect. I began this test with a 1 minute per draw frequency. The taste was amazing; the strength was not over-powering. With each draw I never had to take a couple of "primer puffs" to coax the cigar to make decent smoke. It just stayed lit ... perfectly. At twenty minutes, I switched to 2 minutes per draw. Still the same ... no primer puffs, one draw is all that was required. The burn was perfectly even. At forty minutes, I switched to 3 minutes per draw. STILL ... one draw was all it took to get decent smoke. The cigar finally gave up the ghost at 3 min and 30 sec. I relit. I returned to a 1-minute draw and the cigar lasted for a total of one hour and twenty minutes. It gave an even burn the entire time. The most amazing characteristic is the cigar never heated up! It stayed cool all the way to 1-1/4". The taste was amazing the entire time (sorry, I'm not the guy to turn to if you want to hear words like butter cream, earthy, pepper, creamy, chocolatey, ... or whatever). This is my new GO TO cigar. Perfect in every way (for this novice anyway).

I also bought this cigar in a 5-pack to try it, and I am glad I did not try a box. This is a well constructed cigar, but it burns unevenly and has to be touched up a couple of times per cigar. It does not have a good flavor--it has a light flavor of pesticide or some other chemical. It burns about 55 minutes. I have no idea why this was the CA #2 cigar of 2013. It does not come close to my PDR 1878 Toro Oscuro or Macanudo Maduro Hyde Park cigars it terms of flavor or burn quality, and it is worth noting that both of those cigars (toro and robusto) burn about 15 minutes longer than the F55 Quattro. Do yourself a favor and don't buy these.

Bought this while visiting Vermont after reading the CA ratings for 2013, this is their #2 but their best cigar available in the USA. Well worth the award, a complex, flavorful smoke with character. Smokes easily and invites you back for more. Went back the next day and bought a box of them. The wife likes them too.

I received 5 Aging Room F55 Quattros as part of Thompson Cigars "five-pack fever" deal. This is one of the best cigars I ever smoked. Velvety smooth throughout, with unmistakable Dominican taste. Undertones of coffee and earth. Very similar to Rocky Patel Decade. I generally cannot smoke a Churcill size cigar down to the nub, but you will with this cigar. Very deserving of its 95 rating. Get your hands on this small batch gem before they're gone.

Use a punch instead of a chopper or v-slice...otherwise too easy draw

Excellent smoke! By far, the best I've ever had. I purchased these during a 5-pack Fever special and they do not disappoint. No wonder they are the #1 non-cuban cigar of 2013. I will be buying a box of them for sure.
