Not many Candora wrappers left and It been my favorite smoke for 20 years! Thompson could not get this brand and I did not smoke for almost a year! Saved a lot of money so my ask to Thompson is do not let them not ship product to you!

A good cigar when dry here in Az.,but a really good cigar when properly moist. Mild to medium w/ Candela wrapper; draws well with hints of cedar, leather, and a slight spicy note. Gets even better toward the end.

I was excited to see Fuente offering Candela wrapper cigars once again. However, I was very disappointed with the quality. Unlike in the past, the majority of these cigars were poorly constructed and did not burn well. The flavor was still there but almost 75% of the box was not up to what I consider Fuente standards.

Always enjoy Arturo Fuente. Have always enjoyed 8-5-8. Usually enjoy a candela. Put it all together and you have a wonderful smoke. Love this little smoke. My new go to. It's a keeper!!

Didn't smoke or burn that great, the ash was all over the place! I won't buy them again! I usually smoke 8-5-8 Naturals but they weren't available for a month, great cigar

Great smoke

I love these as I do the Hemingway (more expense). I was gifted a box about 40 years ago. I am now 88 and down to one cigar a day along with my cocktail. I am able to afford a box of the Fuente 8-5-8 about six times a year. This isn't all bad because when I smoke one after a tolerable inexpensive cigar the day before, the 8-5-8 is even more flavoreable and enjoyabe by comparison.

The AF 858 Candella IS a smooth long smoke! A great value cigar! It’s my first Candella. I would have given it 5 stars except I believe it needs more humidor aging. I wasn’t getting very much “Green flavors” as I hoped for. Still I highly recommend this stick! And it’s spectacular that Thompson’s moved to the great state of Pennsylvania! Faster shipping!!

I occasionally enjoy a candela wrapper and AF 8-5-8 are nice.

I was totally taken back while I enjoyed the 858 Candela. It's definitely different from others I've had for the better. This is surprisingly a fantastic cigar. The Candela was one of Al Capone's go to cigar.

I was looking for something similar to a cigar I use to smoke back in the 70’s “Gold Label’s Palma Candela” The 858 did not remind me of that.

Claro 858s have always been one of my favorite everyday smoke but the burn was uneven and it won't stay lit. Great flavor but keep your lighter handy. Really disappointed in this last batch I recieved.

for a a. fuente brand they were a huge disappointment. last time i bought these was 4-5 yrs back and they were a good cigar, this bunch must have be made by a beginner. probably never buy again.

I have been searching for a smoke that is not sweet, or spicy, or peppery, or anything but great tobacco taste and this is the one. Good construction and consistent cigar after cigar.

Tailgating before a Cowboys game, this was a very relaxing and calming respite before the storm associated with the 2015 Cowboys season. Best part of the evening.

used to buy this cigar 2-3 years back and was a well made, good draw etc. but very disappointed in this batch. very poor wrapper,thin and breaks in the wrapper. flavor was good but not good enough to buy again.

Wonderful taste, light and creamy

This cigar, has the same DNA as Arturo Fuente Churchill Candela, only it draws better. To say it differently...it's a 6 1/4" 47 version of Arturo Fuente Churchill Candela, only it draws very good. I'm pleased, this is a keeper.

Very consistent throughout the smoke. The rapper makes for a light to medium low oil smoke. The flavors are nuts and a hint of citrus. This smoke is very easy on the stomach. Where it lacks in flavor it makes up for in other areas. Great early afternoon smoke though. Would recommed it.

I have this smoke usually after a nice dinner, or depending on the load at work an after work de-stresser. Whats great about this particular cigar is the flavor. My only complaint is, occasionally, one or maybe even two out of a box will burn uneven, that is more irritating than detracting from the flavor.

I have kept all my 8-5-8 Candelas in a good humidor with other cigars that have been well preserved by my humidification system. The Candelas wrappers, however, all end up cracking or splitting when one is half way through the cigar. The splits usually occurs where one holds the cigar. I ought to add that this cracking beneath the smokers fingers has happened with several of my guests as well as myself- it is not just my heavy hands.

It's a good sized cigar. Long enough to enjoy a good smoke.

I originally bought the first box for special occasions, and soon realized the mistake in that line of thought. These incredibly smooth, tasty cigars are suitable for everyday, for any reason. While a lot of people shun the green wrapper of the candela cigars, I embrace the green because being green means being a remarkably palatable smoke at a very reasonable price.

It's an 858. That says alot, but with the claro wrapper it's even better.Smooth as silk to the touch and flavor. Can't wait for my next box.
