I thought this would make my lighter work but it did not. I feel these are the worst lighters and frustrating thing I have ever owned. It won't light and burns yellow. Piece of expensive garbage.

Clean burn!

If it wasn't for the clean burn, I would have given this one star. Does not completely fill any of my lighters. Could be just a bad can. Don't waste your money. Get the Thompson brand at 99.99% pure.

Have a blazer lighter manufacture specs recommend triple refined butane for best performance

The Xtar butane is one of the better quality butanes and has a quality nozzle but you may get confused when comparing it to other butanes such as Jet that use fluid ounces. For butane 8 ounces net weight (net means butane only and not the can and butane together) like this one is the equivalent of 14.7 fluid ounces. So you get a little more than a 13 fluid ounce can. But if you get two 13 fluid ounce cans like the Jet butane, you are getting 11.3 more ounces than one can of 8 ounce net weight. But while you get more butane with 2 cans of Jet butane, their nozzles are not the best and you can sometimes get significant leakage. So if you get a bad nozzle is may just be a wash in the amount of butane you actually are able to use. The conversion formula roughly is: (fluid oz) x 0.54 = (net wt oz) or (net. wt. oz) x 1,84 = (fluid oz).
