I got one of these as a single with a past order and was so impressed I bought a box. The gordo size is two hours of smoking heaven. Every aspect is perfect. Flavor, construction, aroma, everything. My favorite cigar to date is CAO Flathead but this one is in the top three or four I have had.

I have enjoyed some othe Wraith cigars that I liked. This cigar is not my favorite though. Bitter notes early on. The cigar is very hard and the cap cracked when I tried to either punch it or cut it. I even got a brand new cutter thinking it was my tool. The cigar smokes OK but the flavor profile is just not my preference.

I have a heavy wet bite with my cigars. This cigar is very hard. It also if bitter to me. I am going to put them in my big humidor and let them age there for a few moths to see if they improve. I would not buy these again.

Pre light aromas were just what I would expect from a maduro. A good looking cigar. Oddly it out easily, but I couldn't draw any smoke. After rolling it through my fingers for about 30 seconds it was producing voluminous clouds of smoke, and the taste is great with a lingering light spice on the palate. The flavor profile isn't exactly dynamic, but their are notes of cocoa, leather, and cedar. Maybe a hint of oak. The broadleaf wrapper leaves a slight sweetness on the lips. It burned faster than expected, but I was a little heavy on the puffing! I could see this being a good everyday smoke, but I think personally I would try a different size because of the draw issues I, and others according to reviews, had with the churchill.

I have a couple of friends who smoke this burner and would tank it top of the heap. But they are inveterate inhalers transferred over from Camel or Lucky Strike. I believe this to be neither accident nor coincidence. It draws easier, and offers a bigger "billow of Blue" every time. That makes it more akin to the little white sticks from which they come. The "Wrath" is wrapped a bit looser, which is obvious if pinched past the outer, firmer wrapping layers. It can be enjoyed by any smoker who likes Madura (and what discriminating cigar liker doesn't) the many ex-users of the little short non-filtered white sticks that used to punctuate my life about 450 times a day. I only was able to quit, about 30 years ago, by limiting myself to six cigarettes a day for 15, FIFTEEN,years before I thought I was ready to succeed where I had failed so mamy times before. Even now, I am not sure, that without uninhaled cigars as as a buffer, I could continue. Were it not for the pleasurable taste and aroma of a good cigar WITHOUT inhaling, that I could continue my numerous decades unaided by the little white dudes. It's hard to dismiss ones best friend after a 20 + year relationship, even at 76 years of age!
