A bit harsh for my taste

Bought a 10-pack. Smoked part of 2 and threw the other 8 away. Cigars arrived extremely dry. Cap disintegrated with the attempt of a straight cut. Thought it was a great deal but in the end you get what you pay for.

I ordered these along with a box of Black Pearls to be used as presentation pieces at a "man of the year" event a few weeks back. The Torano box was perfect for a formal presentation ceremony. The cigars inside were top notch. Unfortunately, the box of Black Pearls was opened with a "opened for inspection" sticker on it, so I could not use them of the ceremony; (what honoree wants an opened box of cigars?) I wish Thompson would inform you that the box you are receiving is coming opened, because if it is being used as a gift, as in my case, one may be inclined to order something else.

Not a bad Robusto, but the wrapper is extremely brittle and tears very easily. I have not had a full wrapper stay on any of the cigars I have smoked.

Nice packaging, burns well, nice smoke until you get halfway then it gets progressively bitter.

I had never heard of these cigars before but the reviews were good and the price was too. I am glad I gave them a try! They were a big hit at our weekly bourbon and cigar night with the guys. The flavor is great, they draw well and burn very evenly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great cigar at a great price.

Outstanding smoke and quality burn

Excellent construction, flavor evolution throughout the stick. I rested these sticks at 65*F and 68% RH for a couple weeks before smoking one. I cut with a guillotine cutter and lit with a single torch lighter. Started of with a hint of cream and chocolate then evolved to leather and earthiness still creamy on the finish. I got to about the half way point and lost the ash most likely due to the rough road I was driving. I purged the stick at three quarters and continued to enjoy it. Not overpowering at all. Planning to acquire more in the future.

Good smoke it was free with my purchase. A solid flavor, good size and construction. An enjoyable smoke.

The Carlos Torano Noventa Santiago cigars are well worth the investment. They have a good mild to medium flavor, are an easy draw and don’t produce a lot of smoke. The cigar will last between an hour to an hour and a half.

Very good draw, the smoke is slightly over moderate, very slight barrel flavor, light hints. Good even burn. Not overly smooth or what i like to call the tingle, burn of the nicotine. Well worth the cost. This cigar leaves you with a nice feeling by the end of the stick.

I can see why these are a deal. My buddy alerted me to the deal so we both purchased at the same time. My best description is “a bit rough” and probably “past their best”. I use them as a golf course smoke only or give one away at a party type cigar.

They have a nice smooth taste and flavor from start to finish .. For those who want to know about the box , well made and very nice.. My wife turned it into a humidor for her flavored cigars ..I will definitely buy these again for a every day cigar.

Ok I thought I had scored when I purchased a box of Toranos but to my disappointment they were difficult to draw and keep lit. Maybe the box I purchased was not kept at the right temperature.

Not a bad stick. Well made, good flavor, good burn for a smaller cigar. Nice to have a less expensive box hanging around for an in-between smoke or a giveaway to smoke with friends.

The main problem with these cigars is that they are stale and dry. The outside of the cigar unravels as soon as it is unwrapped. The draw is fine, the flavor is okay, they stay lit quite well, but again, they are so dry, they don't smoke well.

These items are fine. However, I ordered an Humidor package on July forth and was told it could be between 30-60 days back order... it has been almost 90 days with no updates - disappointing & unsatisfying. And, no Humidor for my cigars.

The draw was perfect on each cigar

Picked these up because of the great price. Expected more from Carlos Torano, especially for an anniversary cigar. Nothing more than a good yard cigar right now. I'll let the other 15 sit in the humidor for a few months to see if they get any better. Put a few in some old cedar lined tubos I had saved to see if that helps any.

A very enjoyable cigar. The best thing I can say about it is that I have nothing negative to say about it. Clean to cut, easy draw, nice medium flavor, burns nice and slow, stays lit. The wooden box it comes in is very classy...would look great on any executive desk.

The packaging is worth the buy when the Noventas are on sale. The box is beautifully made and cigars are elegantly displayed. The noventas burn perfectly and have good mild to medium strength. I buy these every year and really enjoy the quality of this cigar. I never tire of smoking them and you won't either.

They had a very nice draw and smoked easily. The wrapper, binder and filler are well matched and have a nice flavor. Very pleasant without much of an aftertaste the next day since I do not smoke daily. I’ve order a box for myself and one for a friend after smoking my first stick! They high quality and I recommend them.

Good flavor, stays lit

These are overhyped crap. Almost every lable stuck to the wrapper. The actual build quality was inconsistent. Some sticks required a lot of touching up while burning. Others were harsh and damn near unsmokable near the end. Probably due to holes/gaps in the wrapper. You get what you pay for. Don't waste your money.
