I very disappointed about my astray I didn’t receive the stands for the astrays that I ordered from the Thompson cigar, I did call to speak with someone about the astrays but thy answer was we didn’t not carry the stands I like to now why you would sale me an astrays with no stands.

The only problem i ran into was that i noticed the ashtray was sitting kind of "Cockeyed" which this should bother me but i knew it was there. i looked at the base of the tray that spins onto the actual bowl of the ashtray top and noticed the bottom had a "hump" in the top right hand side which made this lean downwards it wasnt sitting flush with it so the only thing i had to do is take a hammer to it and kinda smash it down to flatten out, and no i did not ruin it. it actually sits just fine now and no one would be able to notice the marks unless you screwed off the bottom. Other then that it serves its purpose,

Okay, if I smoked cigars in my home (which I do not), I might consider a nice big crystal ash tray for my cigars. But I smoke outdoors on my front veranda, and for that environment, this does the job and does it well. Its got lots of capacity so I can enjoy cigars with up to three friends and there's room for everyone's stick to be sitting on it at the same time. Its heavy, so wind isn't going to knock it over, nor will a squirrel or a bird. It has lots of capacity and its deep, so once again, in a breeze you don't have ash blowing around everywhere. Is it pretty? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like to think of it as butt ugly, in a cute sort of way. Over time I'll be able to tell if rust is an issue, but if it, I think I should be able to tape off the cigar ledges and then use them fireplace spray paint to refinish the body. Overall, a really good value, and a conversation starter in its own right.
