The Romeo and Julieta 1875 Reserve series uses a premium blend of long filler tobaccos and binder that is grown, cured, and aged in the Dominican Republic. Those high quality, flavor-filled tobaccos are then rolled in a delicious, dark, select Indonesian shade grown wrapper to make a cigar that displays a beautiful range of flavors, including a hint of spicy zest. As with other Romeo y Julieta cigars, these premium smokes also burn with a signature white ash and provide the aficionado with a high quality, very smooth smoking experience. The flavor was good and the size was perfect, but the draw was just too hard, even after using a draw poker. They are really rolled tight. I would not buy again.

While I like RyJ, this batch was not good. All but one had a terrible draw after cutting the head. The draw of 4/5 was terrible and had to use a punch to attempt to fix them. The overall expirience was taxing. I even attemptted to slowly "dry box" but did not improve the draw.

They were great. Enjoyed the size, the aroma (including those around me) and burned well. The draw was fine and it stayed lit while having a conversation with others. Very satisfying at times when time is short and can’t have time for a full length cigar.

Pretty good cigar for the price, they do need to rest a few weeks. Smoked one the day I got them. It had a horrible draw and very bitter. The few I smoked were great after sitting in my humidor for a month
